OT: If you’ve been to a Giants or 49ers game in the last 20 years, you no doubt saw and heard the saxophone playing of Kai (pronounced “Kay”) Hutchins, who recently passed away at 93. SF Chronicle had a nice story about his life https://www.sfchronicle.com/sf/article/kai-hutchins-giants-49ers-saxophonist-obituary-21098752.php
Kai was my wife’s uncle (her mom’s brother) and mine by marriage. Uncle Kai was a talented musician (even though you usually heard songs like Pop Goes The Weasel and Happy Borthday, which got more tips from parents) and wonderful guy. Oh yeah, he played at our wedding. That’s it. Carry on.
