Can I please give this about 30 likes? I don't know if this was really one of the funniest and best E1Ps or if I am just in a good mood. Either way - one thousand thank yous and 30 likes; I couldn't stop smiling throughout.

One thing the Warriors do so well -- and something that has helped them win crucial playoff games in the past -- is identifying and singling out pressure points and relentlessly attacking them.

The latest pressure point they've identified? Keegan Murray.

The link above is a Twitter thread consisted of many examples of the Warriors exploiting Murray's defense.

Yoooo! I forgot this is the delicious part of the postseason when dudes from other teams start talking about (ahem, making excuses) how their injuries are impairing their performance. Look, it's not the Warriors beating them, it's the darned injuries!

Did anybody see where Kuminga was sitting last night - could not catch a glimpse of him on the bench- i watched the entire 4th quarter and rewound sections where they showed the warriors bench - he was not visible on the E1P Celebration audit either. Hope he is not sulking somewhere as he is going to be critical moving forward!

UPDATE: I caught. glimpse of him standing up when Curry hit that high-off-the glass floater - Andre standing next to him was super excited but Kuminga was not - hope he knows his time is coming

Game 6 Klay?

I started to get excited about watching Klay go off on Friday, so I pulled up stats from all of his 13 Game 6 playoff games. Bottom line - he's typical Klay with lots of variation game to game.

Overall, he's averaging 19.5 points per game, shooting 42.7% from the field and 47.7%! from three.

Interestingly, he's never been close to his per game average in a single game. On the low end, he's scored 5, 7, 9, 9, 10, 12, and 14 points; in his other 6 games he's scored 25, 27, 30, 30, 35, and 41. In those high scoring games, he's shot 41/75 (54.7%!) from three. His first five Game 6's were not great - he scored 7, 10, 9, 14, and 5 in those. In his last eight Game 6's, he's averaged 26.1 points per game.

So he's finished in single digits four times and never ended up a game 6 with anything between 15 and 24 points, so he's definitely no Andrew Wiggins. Let's hope he's on the high side of the two brackets on Friday.

Bonus stats: In Klay's Game 6 masterpiece against OKC in 2016, he was 11-18 from three but only 3-13 from two.

On 95.7 they are asking if Looney's deal is the best deal in all of sports. I think there's a really good argument that it is. Sure, superstar rookies make hardly anything compared to their worth, but for a seasoned veteran to be THIS impactful and be paid so minimally (yeah, he's a millionaire, but...) seems incredible.

They say a series doesn't start until the road team wins a game. For me, it feels like the playoffs hadn't properly started until last night, seeing the core guys combine to silence that crowd. I know the whole 28-straight-series-with-a-road-win thing is something W's PR cooked up for the local press, but man if it doesn't illustrate the greatness of this team. Speaking as someone who can sometimes barely summon the courage to watch during crunch time, it's genuinely inspiring to see the fearlessness with which these guys have repeatedly embraced tense moments in hostile settings.

Kings hit 8/12 threes in the 1st quarter and only hit 2/22 threes for the rest of the game. They were ice cold after the 1st quarter, especially in the 2nd quarter where they missed all 9 three-point attempts.

Panel question: I want to understand the strategy better. We are sagging back into the paint to take away passing lanes (particularly for Sabonis) and also for rim-protection and gang-rebounding purposes, right? This can mean open 3s for the Kings if they can hit them. Meanwhile at the other end the Kings are hounding Steph and defending the perimeter, but leaving space for Draymond and Kevon to run offense from the top of the key. Mirror-image strategies? So is it fair to say that one of the most important reasons we are winning the series is because the Kings seem to miss a lot of 3s when they get out of breath? Might the Kings actually benefit if they slowed the game down a bit? Their relentless efforts to increase the tempo don't seem to be having the intended effect.

GP2 was great last night. He just knows where to be all the time so that he is able to get the rebounds or make layups. I think this is what Kuminga can learn from GP.

Slightly OT - I'm not sure when it changed but yesterday, I noticed that I could click on 'comments' again & go directly to them without it taking me to the article first. Used to be that way and then it changed for a couple of months.

For those who bitch about the refs ... last night, Tony Brothers had every justification to T Draymond up after he lost his mind on that head-hit no-call at the rim.

Brothers swallowed his whistle.

Fox may have not gotten a second T when he should have, but Draymond could easily have been tossed, and didn't even get one T.

We get some calls our way.
