About Klay’s foul trouble: Like Draymond said, and what we all anticipated, Klay is more of a 3 in today’s league. And even though he still plays like a shooting guard (and wing, generally) on the offensive end, he is finding himself defending in the paint a lot more. Post-injury Klay (and as a bigger SG), is no longer a defensive lock at the perimeter and point of attack.
And so I wonder what the Dubs are doing, what Klay is doing, to learn a new defensive skill set? He has the Andre swipe down, and knows how to box out and body some 3s and 4s, but he tends to use his arms and hands like a perimeter player. And that’s where the fouls come from.
Hoping to see some evolution here.
