Obviously, Kuminga is struggling a bit more with the offense than the defense... seems like it would be a major improvement to just be on point knowing what are the plays, where to be, and what screens to set. Takes time and reps in the system... watching the games in the G League, he's not getting reps in the system there, so hope he's getting that in the Klay scrimmages.

ok, furiously updated as much as I could. Preview is now a mess, but I thought we would want everything in the body of the article: https://dubnationhq.com/p/preview-warriors-celtics-and-the?justPublished=true

This road trip could be getting ugly real quick....

This whole NBA season has been getting ugly real quick. League wide there have been so many positive tests in the past 48 hours that I'm getting worried they'll have to pause again.

At a minimum, it seems like the health and safety protocols might need to change, since they don't seem to be preventing players from spreading it in or around games.

Yeah, I get the sense that the NBA took the "Well, if we don't test anybody then we'll have no positive cases!" approach until Omnicron took hold.

Omnicron hasn't taken hold, the vast majority of cases are still Delta. That is likely to change rapidly....

Pretty sure Delta is all about change.

The Omicrons are more of a plague of non-discriminatory nano-bots that swarm into all transformer, auto-bots & decepticons alike, stealing critical machinery to re-build their war-torn homeworld.

Worth remembering, tests have (relatively) high error rates and the NBA is testing a lot more. So there are bound to be more false positives due to that alone.

That all said, it ain't lookin good.

So when a player enters health and safety protocols does that mean that he tested positive for COVID or just that he had close exposure with someone who tested positive?

Could be either, I think.

Edit: Disregard. I’m sure Sabrina is right that it needs to be a positive test.

Edit 2: per pengpeiyi’s link, it could be a positive test or an “inconclusive” one.
