Last season on The Dynasty: GSW stumble out of the gates, fall behind double digits at halftime, lead by double digits after three, get smoked by one opponent bench player while lead evaporates early in the fourth, get bailed out by Small Ball Death Squad, tip their hat to another random opponent who gets a career high.

This season on The Dynasty: GSW stumble out of the gates, fall behind double digits at halftime, trail by single digits after three, get smoked by opponent starters after making it a two-possession game, get bailed out by The Tank Squad, tip their hat to a team mate who gets a career high.

Wolves win (after D'Lo blocks Butler to cap 17-3 run to end game?!). All teams have 5 more wins now. Let's see some Curry (when he's healthy).

Poole isn't a shooter. Let's be honest. THE FRONT office have probably come to that conclusion that's why they are looking at shooters from outside ala Zach norvell, Mulder.. Poole is not just it ..

Speaking of Wiggins, it’s still possible (if unlikely) to get a great player even if a team doesn’t want his contract, while still keeping Dray. Rookies can be signed for up to 120% of the rookie scale. Zion is making close to $10 mil I think. Rookies can be traded 30-days after signing. So:

- Agree to the trade on or before draft day (it would have to be for a superstar or a great player that gives us a ‘full squad’

- Trade back into the top-5 using the Wolves pick

- Sign both players for 120% of the rookie scale (for the 1st and 3rd picks, it would be around 18 mil combined, for 4th and 5th, around 14 mil)

- Wait 30 days

- Trade the rookies + Looney (sorry Loon) + future picks for a player making around 20 mil (Miles Turner?) – or more if we add Poole, etc. and maybe get creative with 2nd-round signings.

- Use the TPE and the trade exception to fill out the roster

Not saying it’s realistic or even desirable, just that it might be theoretically possible.

Gotta say, the Chase Center is really nice. Good food options, clean bathrooms, easy to get around, great decorations, cool pregame band out front.

But I've been at Oracle to see Steph roll an ankle and KD "empty the clip" to just barely edge the Spurs. The energy in the air was completely different. Back then, it felt like there was a bunch of pressure in the air from the very start, and the atmosphere during crunch time was suffocating. It was exhilarating and exhausting.

Last night, not so much. Dub Nation was checked out, and the game didn't even feel real half of the time. The dozen or so Kings fans in my area were loud and obnoxious, but the Warriors fans basically put in a token effort, getting pretty excited for a few Quese slams and for the fan who managed to successfully copy Damion Lee's underhanded one-handed 3Pt shot during a timeout... and that's about it.

I won't blame the new arena, ticket prices (mine were a gift, so I dunno what they cost), or SF for the difference in atmosphere, but it definitely felt like the fans knew the team on the floor last night was the worst in the league.

It was a fun night out, but it was not the Dub Nation that was so magical just yesteryear.

I love this analogy:

> this season is the equivalent of the Warriors front office casually perusing the condiments aisle at a supermarket the day before a big grill party. They already have their steaks and burgers (the Splash Bros + Draymond Green) but now they’re looking for the complimentary sauces and toppings.

It's funny because I was thinking about the pic of our starting roster last night, and for some reason this morning was equating it to serving just a jar of relish for lunch. This roster isn't without decent pieces so much as it is just so lacking of top end talent. Really hard to judge the guys - most of whom would MAYBE be rotation players off the bench in a normal season.

Poole hasn't shot better than 31.8% from 3 in a single month yet, and that one was October where he only took 22 attempts. I'm concerned.
