Damion Lee may be blamed for missing at the end, but the Dubs overall were especially bricktastic on wide open shots last night. Also, the Raptors are the champs for a reason.
I don't like Wiggins waiting for the corner 3. His 3P% is what it is.
His big advantage over Russell is his size and athleticism. Catch at the perimeter, glance at the 3PA and drive like that the 7th video above. Curry will give him *so many opportunities like that.
Or better yet, move without the ball. Paschall was cutting a lot last night and Curry found him.
Just imagine Wiggins cutting off ball while two defenders are busy giving Curry a neck and shoulder massage. Steph would end up with like 400 hockey assists next year.
It's quite obvious the game seems slower for Curry. For our young Dubs they got rush into shots and passes when the pressure cranked up. A few more games playing with their leader will greatly improve that.
"Also, the Raptors are the champs for a reason." - Yes, the reason being that Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant got injured in the playoffs.
I was at last night's game. Crowd was very into it, felt like Oracle whenever Steph had the ball. It was a bummer to not win the game after being so close late, but it just wasn't a great shooting night for the Ws and Lee shouldn't get the brunt of that blame after shooting well up until the last minute.
Too many filthy Canadians cheering at the arena though. There were actually a few weak "let's go raptors" chants in the fourth quarter. The audacity. I'm going to make sure to go to the game against the raps next season so I can watch Steph, Klay and them exact some sweet vengeance on these punks.
Lee is getting railed all over social media. I thought he had a pretty good game, just a poor ending sequence. There were times during the game with Steph on the bench that Lee was the only player making things happen.
Powell's 'career night' almost reminded of certain seasons long past when it seemed someone always had a career night v the Warriors no matter who they played. But Toronto is just that good. Nice to see the Chef back. And here comes Philly!
Analytics be damned, but 51 attempted threes is way too much. Curry missed ONE shot inside the arc but would rather launch from deep. This was what was great about KD. The three was not always his first option. Call me boomer, but I'd rather see mid range shots all day than threes.
It's pretty funny how universal the Curry love is right now. Goes to show you how all the reasons other fans say they don't like him aren't real, it's just because he beat their teams a lot. Now that he's not a threat, everyone can enjoy what he brings to the game.
glad to see steph back on the court. 58 games?! it felt long but not that long. a bit curious why he would come back with only a few weeks remaining.

Showcase Game on Saturday for Wiggins with the Sixers being in town. Here's my ideal outcome:
Wiggins absolutely goes off on both ends of the floor.
Curry outside shot looks good
Warriors lose a close game

"The most sought after shot in the modern NBA is a wide open three-pointer."
Good looks at the rim and FT's>open 3's.
