Sipping on a late-night Gin & Tonic, I am starting to doubt.
You would expect at least an occasional glimpse of dominance from a team with legitimate title hopes, lasting a full game or a run spanning a couple of weeks. This year, we've seen dominance once or maybe twice against absolute bottom dwellers, or for short spurts lasting a quarter or less. When was the last time Steph sat a fourth quarter because the game was won?
With the trade deadline coming up in 5 days, this team will sit near .500, maybe below. If they are below, I think that shedding salary has to be at least considered. Is there a reason to think that this core will be any better next year, even if they hit on another vet min? Steph, Dray, Klay will be another year older. Why would top ring chasers come to Bay if this year's team is barely in the play-in?
Moody, Wiseman, JMG are top dump candidates, but won't bring much of a return to improve the team for next year. DDV might get moved to a contender if it is understood that he won't opt in.
We can't or won't move Wiggs, Poole, or Looney, and Kuminga stays unless another rising star comes in return. Klay said he won't play anywhere else, and his salary might prevent any trade unless we attach more value.
If the FO decides that this core is done, they might have to move on from Draymond, as heartbreaking as that would be. Once the season is over, there is no guarantee that he won't just walk for nothing.
Hawks beat the Jazz 115-108. Jazz fall to 27-27, putting the T-Wolves at #7, Warriors at #8, Blazers at #9 (Blazers are 2-1 against the Jazz this season), and the Jazz at #10.
Now that Kyrie is trying to blow up the nets, can we dream of bringing KD back home- who all would we need to send off? Who all does Dub nation consider untouchable?
Well I could not be more surprised. Kyrie Irving, the model of consistency and decorum, has informed his team that he is not happy and would like to be traded. Whither? There are problems on every team, so he'll always be unhappy, because he wants the world's most perfect situation. Maybe he saw the all-star rosters and is asking to be traded to that team. Except he'd hate it because he wouldn't be the center of attention.
Summary: 6-on-6 basketball consists of 3 offensive players and 3 defensive players on each team. Players must stay on their side of the court so it's essentially 3-on-3 (ie. probably pnr heavy).
Thought experiment: who are your players for an (A) all-time peak team and (B) currently active team?
Guy who's been marred in hopeless/unplayable/trade talk comes back from a month plus injury and plays... solid(?). He appears to be playing more physical and willing to set screens, changes shots in the paint, runs the floor and demands the ball under the hoop. Baby steps and Big strides :) I doubt I could reach but here's a pat on the back young man 👋
Back-to-back losses for Warriors, but mediocre basketball can't break Dub Nation

Somebody talk me off this ledge ...
Hey gang, please be advised that the preview will be up around 9 or 10 tomorrow, not the usual 6am.
Spread the word. Be kind to everyone else as we all struggle through this life

I see that DLee was team high +30 in the Suns > Celts game.

Another melee on the court, this time in the Wolves and Magic game. four players were ejected. One of them is our ‘favorite’ Austin Rivers. Lol!

suns about to beat the celtics at the garden :-(
Blazers are now #10 in the West (26-26) after being the Wizards tonight.
Pacers beat the Kings 107-104.
Kuminga has climbed back up to 33% from 3 on the season and has improved a lot from the corners hitting them at 37% this year, that is awesome

For me:
(A) Steph-Kareem-LeBron / Rodman-GP2-Hakeem
(B) Steph-LeBron-KD / Dray-GP2-Giannis
I find the lack of Wiseman props... disturbing.
