Way too early take... but I wonder if Natalie Nakase is a possible Warriors head coach replacement if Steve Kerr decides to walk away after 1 or 2 seasons? What Nakase is doing is amazing. Bunch of no-names, bench players, rookies, cast-offs and they're all connected, playing with energy, having fun, and winning games.
A rim protector who can pass and handle is tougher to find than a wing who can shoot.
Three point shooting in college, especially high 30’s is no guarantee for NBA success and none of the shooters were really good defensively if I remember correctly.
I'm getting the feeling that commenter void is not going to be doing his big board this year, which is too bad.
Most of the guys I voted for in the earlier rounds came in second place, so I'm sticking with my one winner #BRICE .
My gut says he would be superb at bench cellies at well, but for some reason Mr. Apricot does not appear to have included that critical dimension in Clunky yet. A rare oversight which will be fixed in the future, I'm sure.
I love yall but the big body love fest is simply confounding. The problem was never really lack of big bodies. The problem is one of spacing. You try and draft as many potentially elite floor spacers as you can and hope you continue to develop TJD and Post NOT add another big body into the mix
I see the hype. I think he has the potential to be a glue guy at the next level. I don't know how to explain it but his game just has that OOMPH to it. It's fun to watch.
I'm going with #Amari, because I am entertaining an unrealistic pipe dream that Draymond could take him under his wing and make him our offensive hub/defensive mastermind of the future, kind of a mix between Dray and AD. It is a lovely dream.
Missed the day when Tonje's group was there, I would have voted for him although if Lanier was in a different group I might have voted for him as well. Very old player so limited upside and maybe the 6.9 FTA per game was in part a function of beating up on 18 year olds, but he's good enough for me.
Another name I've seen that wasn't in this tournament was the Chinese center Hansen Yang, although I don't know much about him.
I had Yang and Markovic and then I had a couple of open spots in case GSW worked out any more players publicly. I had Rocco Zikarsky penciled in before I ran out of time…That would have made a Tall Overseas Players group
It's possible (probable maybe even?) that Brice and Bates are going to be better fits for the Warriors and/or better NBA players than Amari. But I think that Amari's rim protection is the most valuable skill out of the 5 finalists'.
Even if we made my favorite off-season trade for Claxton, Williams would be valuable off the bench. And the Rockets are probably going to use a KD-Adams-Sengun lineup at some point.
We do need shooters, but I think it would be easier to find one in a trade or FA than it would be to find a rim-protecting specialist.
I talked myself into everyone except Cryer at some point, so my vote should probably just get tossed, but:
I'm going with #AMARI.
Brice is probably the right call, but I'm a little tired of our lack of height. And, Post/Williams seems like it could be an OK offense/defense rotation for the future. Downside, he probably won't do much while Steph is active.
I love you all but this is an invalid vote which I will not count. The rules exist exactly so I do not have to decipher how to count this. Feel free to edit this.
#Amari I would like a full stable of big men to hope a couple emerge as the center (s) we need.
That said it was a close call with #Brice who just looks like he'd fit with our style of play. He's a natural.
And here's something that influences me long term on smaller players. As the league gets taller there is a place for smaller. Their center of gravity is lower and they can move like cats twisting and moving under and around like gyrating cats.
So give 5 POINTS to each or 4 to #Brice and 6 to #Amari. If that doesn't screw things up too much. Thanks Eric! We are almost to the fun part. Well that's not true. While lots of you were watching the playoffs I was switiching back and forth to the Valkyries.

Possible Roaracle return if the Valks make the playoffs y'all.

Sadly I don’t have a source for celly-litics. The field is woefully behind on this

Time to petition GPII to change his number. Unlucky number zero has got to go after Dame, Tatum and Hali all tore their achilles.
Also wild that the guy we drafted #2 overall and the guy we should have taken both blew out their Achilles this season playing for the same team.
Or JK if he re-signs. Imagine blowing out both Achilles heels at once!

They all need to follow Ben Patrick, the "Knees over Toes" guy and work out with his program in the summer.

He can shoot and the Warriors need shooters.

I was going to have a special group with Yang and Bogoljub Markovic and a couple of others in there, but I ran out of time
Curious who the other names were?

I’m between Brice and Amari. I voted for Amari but would also be good with Brice. Being an armchair GM is hard.

Was this meant for the above comment by Ty?
No, TRT’s is invalid because it’s a hashtag that could refer to two candidates, which is why I asked for first name hashtags.
Ty’s comment doesn’t count as a vote because there’s no hashtag, but I think that should be too obvious to need a comment
Ah, doh! When all else fails, read the directions.
I didn't realize we had two Williams-es in the pool. Usually it's last name.
Fixed. I wondered why people were using the first name below.
Ahh I see. Thanks.

Okay then #Amari Sorry bad girl.

Fun chaotic big men needed.
