Attended the Wizards-Celtics game tn. Don’t get me wrong the Celtics look good, but damn the Wizards are bad. Jordan Poole looked like their best defender most of the time he was on the floor (until garbage time when Rollins started racking up deflections). It’s wild that Rollins isn’t in their 10-man rotation right now, he’s better than Wright and Davis. The Wizards also played with 0 centers tn (they had Avdija on Porzingis), and I think the only center they have rostered is Gafford. Its a bit silly but I think it’d make sense for them to pick up Wiseman. They’re not trying to win and need some size, worst case they just continue the tank. Best case Wise blossoms and they have two solid rotation bigs.
The Celtics top 6 looks monstrous, not many across the history of the NBA that look better tbh. But their reserves look WEAK. I think they’ll lose a more games than people expect because of their bench coughing up leads, not to mention potential injuries. Wouldn’t be surprised if they end up looking gassed in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
And if you haven’t said “SEGABABA” outloud yet today please do. I did not know it was just a twitter thing and tried to use it in conversation, and have since doubled down on speaking it as much as I can to hide the embarrassment.
