Klay and Wiseman ready by Christmas?

How should the Warriors draft? More wing scoring? More guard stability and defense?

This teams gonna be dominant again next year when Klay and Chriss return, Poole with another year under his belt and his constant improvement, Wiseman with a lesser role off the bench, and Derozen signs the mid-lev to chase a ring, which will give a lot opportunities for rest days for Steph and Klay...

Man... its gonna be fun watching them defend their title in 2022 😉

In the "it's never gonna happen, but there's a 0.1% chance it does category; Warriors beat Nets for 2021 NBA championship. It would mean:

-Harden loses again to Steph/Draymond/Kerr (how many times have they eliminated him from the postseason?)

-Durant loses again to Steph/Draymond/Kerr after joining them because he couldn't beat them

-Kyrie loses again to Steph/Draymond/Kerr after going 1-3 against them in Cleveland

Yeah, it's not happening. But in an Avengers Endgame scenario where there's a 14 million to one odds of it happening... it's fun to dream.

If we win on Wednesday, I predict we get a deep playoff run. Lose and we sink into the bracket of death, where you start off on the road against the #1 seed and each new opponent is tougher than the last, up to and including the Nets. Any team would struggle against that gauntlet, not least ours. But win and we get Phoenix, Denver/Portland, and only 1 team from the bracket of death. That's the route we want.

Marv Albert is finally retiring after the playoffs. He's been terrible for years, so it's about time.

Random thought: if the Ws shock the world and find themselves deep in the playoffs with a key offensive possession to decide a Game 7 or something ... could they bring in Klay for 15 seconds to space the floor, terrify the defense, and/or sink a game-winning three?

I know the answer is “no,” but it’s fun to ponder.

Great write-up, Eric.

I must respectfully disagree with Steve Kerr. Jordan Poole is more than a 6th man...he is already demonstrating he is the and present AND future return to 'ships and dynastic continuity. I never thought I would be writing this a year ago.

Well, I am not going to bet any money on our chance to take one off the Lakers in Staples Center, but hey, anything can happen in a single game. Thanks to this one, the good news is that even if it goes wrong, we've got a backup plan!

Gotta say, this 8-man rotation has been really solid, especially the grit and determination they've shown to keep the game close no matter who has how much of a lead.

I really wish they could learn to put the games away a little earlier so we didn't have to bite our nails for the last few seconds, but as long as they get the W...

poole is a pretty tough SOB. between the ankle last game and the tailbone this game i’m surprised he stayed in both games and performed well

“We get caught up in the records sometimes. We get caught up in the, OK, who has the best record instead of just saying who had the best season that year. And Steph has had, in my opinion, the best season all year." - LeBron James

Congrats to the team on another big win. 6 in a row. I wasn't able to watch the game as it started at 2:30am here. Too old for all nighters. Curry and Dray are on top of the world. Kerr likes to stick with an 8 man rotation in games of importance. Baze and Mulder didn't seem to add much, but maybe the stats don't tell the whole story. It's great to see them rolling along like this.

LAKERS! I see it going one of two ways. We win, or we lose. lol

Lebron & Cie are big dudes with the best defense rated #1. We are rated #5, nothing to sneeze at. We are the hottest team in basketball at the moment. We've got the best 2 man tandem, playmaker and scorer. They've got height like no one else, plus Lebron. We stink at Staples and on the road, in general. I don't think we will be the favored team except with the fans. Smart money should be on the Lakers but I think we can upset them and make them cry. No promises here, though. I'm glad this is not an elimination game. I'd love the boys to get at least one playoff series under their belt. It will help them next season when we will be body slamming the league!!
