Monte Pooles BR article had a section titled ‘The Wanamaker Problem’....ouch.

Should we open up a LGW B/U PG sweepstakes?

OT: Next six game: I think we go 3-3. Split the two Lakers game, win Blazer (must have for tie-breaker advantage over Blazers), win Suns (revenge game). However Suns game is b2b - so not sure.

What do you got??

What’s the temperature on Quinn Cook? I remember liking to see him play, but that doesn’t mean he was necessarily any good.

Woo 3 in a row!

I said we'd lose 3 first, love when I'm wrong

Three in a row! That was a fun game and exactly what we all thought would happen after last week’s debacle. Revenge is a dish best served gold. Even tho Wiseman sometimes looks as gangly and awkward as a young giraffe, I absolutely love watching him play and grow.

Some thoughts/observations:

* I would have been fine with the Dubs taking Wiseman, Ball or Edwards, in that order. And would have been okay with them trading down and snagging Haliburton or Avdija. In terms of this season, Ball or Haliburton would have been most useful. Both are legit ballers. But Wiseman is the best fit for the duration of the Splash Bros tenure. It’s TBD who has the most upside, imo.

* Still can’t tell if Wiseman’s teammates just don’t know how to throw him the lob or if he doesn’t know how to finish them or a little of both. But you’d think that would be less of a thing by now. Going to be electric when they start completing that circuit on the regular.

* Wiseman’s hands still need some softening and his hand-eye coordination could be in better harmony. For a seven-foot body it’s going to take a while for those signals to synch up.

* Hope Oubre’s fire stokes Wiggins’ flame. Otherwise, Oubre will take his spot as the SF beside Steph and Klay next season. At their current trajectory, Kelley’s going to be part of the new core four.

* Like Lowe said, Draymond is two or three steps ahead of visual reality.

* How long until they replace Wannamaker? Even tho Kerr says his offense and facilitation will come around, you know Meyers is lining up options.

* Steph looks like his body is starting to feel the wear and tear of the season; might be why he’s been ‘scuffling’ from 3 the last several games.

At some point "will Oubre re-sign to come off the bench" might need to become "what can the Warriors do to free up a starting spot for Oubre to ensure he comes back"? The dream scenario is keeping both Oubre and Wiggins but chances are they are going to have to choose (unless Klay is coming off the bench in a post-Achilles role change).
