Was obvious in the offseason that they needed a vet shot creator and a vet big man but when you are trying to win and develop at the same time that means you don't have the roster spots and need Poole and Wiseman to fulfill those roles. They can say "Poole didn't take the step up we had anticipated" but they are shining the spotlight on Poole by putting so much responsibility on his shoulders. Hopefully he comes alive in the playoffs but this game is exactly why they were rumored to be interested in Dragic.
Poole was obviously far from the only problem here, but I think most of the other issues can be covered up with Klay/Draymond. The lack of a vet big man and vet shot creator are by far their two biggest obstacles toward a championship imo.
Wiggins isn't built to be a #2 who has to create his own shot, we knew that already. If Klay/Draymond are back he'll slide back into his proper role.
Poole is more concerning because I don't know if Klay/Draymond coming back changes his role that much. Perhaps between Klay/Iguodala the Warriors can conjure up a backup PG, I dunno though and it's not really the same.
It's just crazy like....what happened to that team from the first half?? It's just wild how the Mavs decide to amp it up and you curl into a ball.....wild.
Dude this was the most monumental collapse in every aspect. Like everyone’s worst tendencies came out this 4th quarter: Curry bricking 3s, Kuminga low energy boneheaded plays, Wiggins reverting to his worst long two point shooter self, Poole unplayable, everyone else invisible for long stretches. Like I can’t blame anyone else. Let’s just hope the Lakers lose
post game thread is up. I have no insight. This one hurt: https://dubnationhq.com/p/warriors-collapse-late-in-heartbreaking?utm_source=url
@TheWarriorsTalk
Steve Kerr on the loss:
"It's a good lesson for us. We gotta understand, an NBA game can turn on a dime, it happens quickly..."
I’m telling you this man has more job security thab Warren Buffett
Wow didn't even realize the Lakers are 5 games under .500 lol
Hey we looked great in an early start game. When does that ever happen? When it came to playing at our normal time slot we pooped the bed. Oh well.
Steph playing 38 minutes in a loss... god Draymond AND Andre can't come back soon enough
Poole is the 28th pick in the draft. I’d hardly say he’s a disappointment
Poole is such a disappointment. Repeating my question, why is he worth $20 million$?
More like 20 million in bitcoin... or rubles...
Right now he worth a bag of chips, and that’s too much
He isn’t.
Poole with 1 assist and 1 turnover.

Pooles
Granted he had 6 rebounds, but he had 4 measly points.
At this point, how much can we really depend on Poole? And even on Wiggins, for that matter?

Fucking DAL bench was jumping around like cheerleaders the whole 4th and we didn't do shit to make them sit down
Luka posting up Steph for the dagger was about BBQ chicken as it gets lol
Blame the rest of the team for just standing there, hands on hips, not doing a single damn thing to even pretend to try to help.
Sorry buddies, this ain’t my team no more. I am a fucking warrior, these are not
See you tomorrow
They play tomorrow? Ughh
Warriors, general illness

What a big meltdown. Curry worked his butt off. GP and Looney played hard too. But everyone else just came up short. Even Kerr seemed absent.
