Celtics have a game tomorrow against the Lakers, so they're gonna need to rest their starters soon. I don't think a comeback victory is gonna happen tonight.
Well, I'm very excited for you all to see my new header image attempt for tomorrow's article. Did I spend too much time on it? Maaaaybe. But it's art, so maybe not?
Hm...OK, Duby, for now. This road trip is going to tell us a lot; begin to resolve the question of degree of concern we need be experiencing if we are going with a win now...Nonetheless. when I think back on last 'SHIP season, it was not so much the minutes, as much as the timing and impact of the contributions of GPII and Otto, during the season and the run to the 'Ship, particularly, the playoffs and final. Methinks there are already indicators we may need help in replacing that ability to spark and impact a game decisively, and consistently. GPII had that, as did Otto, the minute they were inserted. I thought I saw a lot of that in il Mac, reason why I was keen on the latter.
Dubs' quarter by quarter net rating and clutch rating (From The Athletic's power ranking piece):
1st Q: +6.0 net rating | Ranked 10th
2nd Q: -2.4 net rating | Ranked 18th (tied)
3rd Q: +3.6 net rating | Ranked 10th
4th Q: -1.4 net rating | Ranked 16th
Clutch: -11.8 net rating | Ranked 22nd (tied) | 14 games (5-9)
That clutch rating sucks. 2nd and 4th quarter are negative because Steph isn't there half of the quarter.
Did we win or loose any clutch games last playoffs? I think there were two - against DEN and MEM and I think we won both.
Uh-oh. Clippers finally look something like what their ceiling could be. Healthy and a ... threat to win the West? Whatcha think?
Good look at how the Dubs stopped the Celtics offense:

From the Wolves blog:
“They need Wiggins to come give them a seminar on how to play hard.”

Leonard having an excellent night against the Celtics.
Damian Lillard is still around, lest anyone forget.
(Helps when your opposite number is DLo, but still).
Healthy Clippers cooking Boston

Celtics: 7/30 threes
Clippers: 6/16 threes
What happened to Boston's three point shooting?
the clippers leading the celtics by 9 with a minute to go in first half! Did the warriors inflict some serious confidence-damage on saturday?
We've got an upset win tonight. Spurs barely beat the Cavaliers 112-111.

Includes Steve Kerr talking about “gaggle”
Also a great appearance by Mike Brown pitching in on a breakdown of Klay’s late three to beat Memphis in G1 of the conference semis.
Not good news: Draymond's status is 'probable' (sprained left ankle) for tomorrow's game.
Watching the Pacers lose to Miami. Of course Nemhard who torched us has absolutely sucked since then.
