Looks like the Warriors are working on changing Wiggins' shot form.

Just in case no one noticed, Schakel is playing with Sacramento now. That makes two players that have fled the Warriors Summer League roster. The other is Dowtin. I imagine both players felt there was no way of sticking with the team considering the Chiozzi signing and no room for another wing player who was not clearly dominating in games. Makes sense to me, but I would have loved to see Dowtin playing for us. He seemed to have all the makings of a PG, checking many boxes that our current hopefuls don't check like GP2 and Mannion. I am hoping that Chiozzi is a better player than I have been led to believe. Dowtin could shoot, pass, & rebound.

Only watched the highlights of the Rockets game and I know, SL, etc. etc. but man... they have a bright future. And Garuba hasn't even joined the party yet...

Sengun also had one defensive iso possession against Cade... he didn't prevent him from scoring but stayed with him all the way...

A lot of chatter about Sengun, haven't seen him yet. But let's all give the Rockets a hearty "Welcome to the NBA." I'm excited for the team and the city that Harden spurned. The sooner the Rockets have a better record than whatever team Harden plays for the better. What a draft for them, I'm a fan of the Rockets until Harden retires. ;-)

Kuminga. Or as I like to call him: JFK. Jonathon Freaking Kuminga. I admit, pre-draft, I didn't watch 10 minutes of the guy because I was sure he wouldn't be on the board at 7. Going by 2 Summer League games alone, Holy Freaking Hell. His downhill feel attacking the rim is off he charts for someone his age. 5 NBA finals in a row, 2 injury riddled covid years, and looking down the bench we have Poole, Moody, Kuminga, Wiseman? And we got the old band back together? Shut up! The basketball Gods heard Warrior nation cheer through decades of misery and they have rewarded us for our faith and love of basketball. It's a great day to be a member of Dub Nation. We have just finished Intermission, reloaded on Popcorn, Milk Duds and a Large Soda. The Curry/Warriors story has 5 more years waiting to be told. This is gonna be good. Damn, this is gonna be good.

There's only a 3 way trade that makes sense (that doesn't involve Draymond) and that's one between Philly, Golden State, and Toronto.

Philly gets Siakkam and perhaps someone like Moody to bolster their shooting, Toronto gets Wiggins, Wiseman, and next year's 1st round draft pick from us. We of course end up getting Ben Simmons.

In this scenario of course involves two depressed assets which would allow us to keep one of our lottery picks like Kuminga and maybe convince Toronto that Wiggins/Wiseman is a good long term play for them.

I must say I am not particularly content that the Warriors apparently weren't even players in the Dennis Schröder sweepstakes. However, with how yoked Poole looks, I can't even discount that he is going to make a major leap as a playmaker just by training as hard as he does. And of course it leaves a possible roster spot for the rebounder that is so desperately needed.

Wtf Poole is massive. Look at 1:52

Feels like the Ben Simmons rumors won't go away. The Warriors rebuffed the trade at first but if the price keeps falling, I do wonder if there's a point at which they do the deal. All I know is, Moody should be the last of the lottery picks on the table.

I know it's only Summer League and any insights drawn from summer league need to be taken with a truckload of salt, but my god Sengun looks good. Most importantly, his rim protection seems to be translating (we all knew his passing and post-ups would translate) - he has 8 blocks in the first 2 games and he's still getting to the line like Embiid/Harden (18 FTA in the first 2 games).

If he's a competent drop defender with his offensive skills, he's gonna be really good. Still want to see the Rockets put the ball in his hands more but I suppose they're not gonna have too many creation opportunities for Sengun with Green/KPJ/Wood.

Just got off the phone with Nico Mannion.

He will play heavy minutes for Virtus Bologna in Italy's top league next season AND will make more money.

His goal is to eventually get a guaranteed NBA contract.

Nico told me he had the full support of Steve Kerr and the Warriors will retain his rights while he is overseas.

But one of the biggest voices in Nico's decision was @Money23Green

. He told me he leaned on Dray for advice over the last couple of days.

We will have more from my conversation with Nico tonight only on

Rockets turned around quick. From having cp3 and harden to kpj, sengun, Jalen green, wood. should be a fun team

Sengun looked good early too. Couple of nice defensive plays

Cade cutting up Jalen Green. And

interestingly Cade had more impact with the ball in his hands and Hayes sitting. I wonder if this will be a trend

Jonathan Malangu Kuminga Nicknamed "The Kum Bucket" is a Congolese professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors...(wiki)

Ok. I vote we don't use this name. I like Kuh Minga. Or Mr. The Minga. Or maybe anything else...

Kyle Guy should be on an NBA team. The guy torched us against Sacramento and is showing he can be a facilitator as well as a shooter in SL. Even if it’s not with us, I want him to latch on somewhere.
