Damn, its 9:15 and I’m already feeling antsy. What to do, what to do? Spin, play frisbee with dog, complete NYT crossword, make ceviche. Yeah, that should keep me occupied until game time, right? Arghhhh this is where my impatience really works against me.

OK, post your power rankings of the eight teams remaining. I'll start:

1) Boston

2) Golden State

3) Phoenix

4) Milwaukee

5) Dallas

6) Miami

7) Memphis

8) Philly (unless Embiid makes a miracle return)

All 20 of the ESPN people predicted the Warriors to win the series. Only 1 of the 20 even thought it'd go 7.

I think they're over-indexing on the Minnesota series. Memphis is one of the worst matchups for us stylistically.

Only 42.5 hours between the start time of game six and start time of game one today for Memphis. Essentially 40 hours between finishing one playoff game as starting another.

Sure, these guys play back to backs on a regular basis and Memphis is a younger team, but that's a really quick turn around, all things considered.

Memphis also essentially hasn't even played this version of the Warriors and their prep time going into today's game is going to be minimal.

None of this guarantees a victory, but lots of things working on our favor.

One thing I do miss is being able to throw our guy Juanito into the mix for some reliable heart and hustle play. Not sure what happened there with his game but looking forward to his Most Valuable Bench Player performance!

This should be a competitive series. That said I like they way things are shaping up, our guys have that look, they got their first close-out win in the books. They have a taste and will want more.

I called Warriors in 5 versus Denver before the playoffs started. I feel a split coming in Memphis with us taking the game tomorrow. I feel we hold court at home, losing one more on the road and winning a Klay game at home. Here’s to good series with no injuries on either side.

Do the Grizzlies start Tillman(/Adams) at the 5? If so I think I'd start Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Draymond/Looney, the matchups seem pretty straightforward (although perhaps they crossmatch Looney onto JJJ so Draymond can stay around the basket guarding Tillman?).

Do the Grizzlies start JJJ at the 5? The lineup itself could be really hard for the Warriors as a closing lineup, but JJJ at the 5 is a lot more foul prone so I don't think they would start with him there? And if they do it might actually be a good thing for the Warriors.

Do the Grizzlies start Clarke at the 5? This one is trickier to me, you might have to put Green on Clarke to deal with his athleticism and then perhaps OPJ or Kuminga to guard JJJ? Can OPJ stay in front of JJJ? Is Kuminga disciplined enough to guard him? Can Kuminga or OPJ guard Clarke instead and keep him off the boards? Does Looney have the ability to guard JJJ and how would the Grizzlies try to take advantage of that matchup given JJJ's athleticism advantage?

I'm expecting Clarke because he presents immediate issues for the Warriors to deal with and I don't see the point of waiting if I'm Jenkins.

How many times are they gonna try to push Nico Ali Walsh as a viable boxer. He stinks.

Man I thought we had the Sunday evening game. A 2:30 pst on a Sunday havong to travel cross country doesn’t inspire as much confidence as if we could have started this series next Tuesday evening.

Dubs have had more rest but I bet they’ll look more rusty and tired come tip. Idk I get the feeling they’ll look old against Memphis.

Are we playing with house money? If we were told at the beginning of the season that Wiseman would play 0 minutes, extended time off for Dray and Andre, our core would only log 11 minutes on the floor together all year, and Wiggins would lead the team in 3pt%, wouldn't we feel that the season is already a success? Third best record in the league, possibly lose in the 2nd round to the team with the second best record in the league? Not to mention that we have secured at least 2 future stars in Poole & Kuminga AND Klay looks as good as Klay has looked in year 1 of his return? And Curry was in early MVP talk and Dray had DPOY locked up if not for missed games? And Kerr and staff managed to thread the needle on Lacob's dream of a never-ending dynasty? Pretty damn good year I would say.

As a fan, I just want to say thanks Dubs. In my mind, from here on out, it's all gravy and whipped cream. Then again, I really like gravy and whipped cream, so rip their hearts out Dubs.

Splitting or winning both G1 &G2 is our best chance to put this series away. Hit them on the road while they are tired physically and mentally (scouting report and what not) tired. I would say hit them fast with Fast Five. Close 4th with GP2 if things aren't going well.

Other two road games would be tough out as that bit of advantage will go away by G5

Could we see Moody log some minutes in this series? The one thing I like about Moody is his nose for the basket. He gets in the mix. He hunts for the ball in traffic. I could see him pulling some key rebounds, 50/50 balls sprinkled with a few 3s. If this becomes an "our wings vs your wings series", he could bring a bit more depth. 16 min from JK and 8 from Moody? I'm basing this on no Andre, and limited minutes from Beli & Looney.
