Bullock gets fouled, hits 1/2 FTs. Second missed FT is rebounded by Powell, who is fouled. He makes 2/2 FTs, and the Mavs are up 99-95 with 9 seconds left to go.
Suns are having a hard time scoring even though they have several more off. rebounds than the Mavs. Mavs, meanwhile are hitting their shots tonight without Luka.
Mavs up 54-48 at the half. Looking at the box score, Ayton has 13 boards and put up 12 shots (4/12) while D Lee played 13 minutes and didn't shoot once.
D Lee still hasn't scored in three quarters. What are the Suns doing with him? He has 0 points, 1 assist, 2 rebounds, 2 turnovers, 2 steals, and 4 fouls in nearly 18 minutes.
Tatum's three pointer misses. Horford gets the rebound and passes the ball to Brogdon, but his three pointer is blocked by Brunson. Knicks beat the Celtics 120-117 in OT.

Kyrie has an offensive bag but does he empower his teammates and create for them too?
He’s a handful for a few games a year, and drags his team down at least every other season. I enjoy watching Kyrie when he’s on and especially enjoy the fact that he’s irrelevant to the championship conversation.
Ja, on the other hand, seems to empower and embolden his teammates so people make remarks about how amazing the Grizz drafting has been. Even when we all know Brooks sux.
Surprised Monte didn't mention that Kyrie was kind of a mentor to JK - JK's senior year of HS was at the same high school Kyrie had gone to. It adds some background to JK's opinion.
Ja hasnissues with kumingas strength and im sure hes suprised when kumingas big ass stays with him with his quickness. First matchup ja settled for a lot of threes on kuminga
In terms of ballhandling and finishing I'd give him that, hell he might be a better ballhandler than Curry, but Kyrie has always heavily lacked as a distributor.
i'm gonna realize kyrie is an enlightened political genius and prefer his solo career over anything he did with steph? and my favorite two things they did together will turn out to be harrison (barnes)?
As Kyrie is to Clapton. Which seems to make less sense. I mean I got what was being said… but I’m fianlly sitting at home after work, trying to ignore my family to be a good dnhq reader!
Agreed. With Kyrie, you have to worry about his jumper in addition to his craftiness. Don't have to worry as much about Ja pulling up for a jumper, but he does have a pretty deadly floater altho that's when he's pretty deep in the lane already.
If you compared early Kyrie on the Cavs (before LeBron) to Ja the comparison would be very different. Kyrie is probably in his prime right now and at the peak of his abilities. Ja, assuming he can stay healthy, is going to get better and better with time. No idea where he will end up relative to this version of Kyrie.

Ayton had 19 points and 20 rebounds tonight, but he was 6/20 FGs and 7/10 FTs. Yikes.
Thankful that neither Van Gundy called the game last night.
CP3 misses the 3. Mavs beat the Suns 99-95. Mavs move to 26-24 while the Suns fall to 25-25.
i guess Chris Paul lost?

Game over - mavs win

They're wasting his prime.
With Luka out, Dinwiddie decides to take over.
Uh-oh. Luka had to head to the locker room earlier. He was limping and favoring his left ankle.
X-rays negative but he's out for the game
😳
Okay so suns in 6th play mavs in 7th and dubs are in 8th…
I’m tempted to simply root against chris paul and devin booker (that kardashian connection just makes me want to throw feces)
Knicks win!
Oh my. Jaylen Brown missed both FTs, which would've either tied the game or have them take the lead, and the Celtics are forced to foul.
Tatum's three pointer misses. Horford gets the rebound and passes the ball to Brogdon, but his three pointer is blocked by Brunson. Knicks beat the Celtics 120-117 in OT.
What the...? Hornets beat the Bulls and Pistons beat the Nets on the road.

I wonder how he does on curry lol
Is this Asher’s agent?

LeBron started his career before YouTube was *founded*. Crazy.
-Embiid's not a starter? Bruh.
-Zion's great and all, but I think Sabonis deserves a spot over him.
Starters are always a popularity contest.
I still remember when Wiggins was announced as an All-Star starter last year. People were MAD.
People are idiots.

In terms of on-court skills and nothing else, Kyrie has the closest level of magic to what Steph has that I've seen, and trust me, I hate saying that.
In terms of ballhandling and finishing I'd give him that, hell he might be a better ballhandler than Curry, but Kyrie has always heavily lacked as a distributor.
Who needs to pass when you can put the ball in the bucket?!!
;-)
Steph / McCartney
Kyrie / Lennon

Steph: Hendrix
Kyrie: Clapton
Wait wouldnt these analogies be
Steph is to Kyrie
As
Hendrix is to Clapton
So steph:kyrie
As. Hendrix:clapton
Otherwise it reads
Steph is to Hendrix
As Kyrie is to Clapton. Which seems to make less sense. I mean I got what was being said… but I’m fianlly sitting at home after work, trying to ignore my family to be a good dnhq reader!
Kyrie does such an amazing job of using his off arm to create space in ways that the refs don't call fouls...
Irving vs. Morant stats:
Irving: (36 games)
36.9 minutes/game, 26.8 points, 48.7% FG (9.9/20.3), 37.1% threes (3.2/8.6), 57.2% twos (6.7/11.7), 90.3% FT (3.9/4.3)
5.1 rebounds (1.0 off.), 5.2 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks, 2.2 turnovers, 2.7 fouls
Morant: (40 games)
32.3 minutes/game, 27.3 points, 46.5% FG (9.7/20.9), 31.7% threes (1.7/5.2), 51.4% twos (8.1/15.7), 74.3% FT (6.2/8.4)
5.5 rebounds (1.1 off.), 8.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.3 blocks, 3.5 turnovers, 1.7 fouls
Most guys in the league would probably say the same. Ja has blazing speed and athleticism but he doesn't have the wide range of skills that Kyrie has.
