Warriors put away the Nuggets
Big showing late from the core helps put a rest to a resilient Denver squad
It was a little too close for comfort at times, but the Golden State Warriors managed to put away the Denver Nuggets and will advance to the next round of the playoffs. My perfect wife said her concern level was at a three (out of ten), but then downgraded it to a two in the closing minutes (“because I didn’t know the Warriors would play that good.")
It was a tough battle, and you can expect whoever the Warriors face in the next round to attack the rim plenty while screaming “this is for Boogie!”
In the end, the final score was 102-96, and the Warriors take a gentlemen’s sweep in the first round. Denver his some unfortunate injury luck, including the removal of our favorite punching bag, Austin Rivers, who was surprisingly effective as a defensive pest before getting some sort of leg injury in game five.
I’m ecstatic. This is one of those games (and series) that I’m going to remember a little bit extra.

Love how GP2 looks like he's just been practicing uncontested warm up threes for the past few months :) (Shout out coaching staff!)
Really feels like the FO played "moneyball" with this guy and has unlocked all sorts of potential other teams didn't value.
I'd love a company to use him for an ad campaign with a customer shopping around wondering how could this deal be so good and GP2 is just following them around not saying anything, just scratching his head smiling :)
