A 3am start for West Coasters? Finally, you can feel my pain when I’m in Prague hehe

Mypothesis is that Steph growing up around the NBA with Dell made it a bit easier for him to adjust to the fame and fortune he now has (You could say the same for Klay, Wiggs, GPII, etc). Have there been/are there any sons of former players who are not as well adjusted?

I hear every NBA Team is retiring Alen Smailagic's number. Egg on the face for recent DNHQ article giving Bob Meyers and F for that pick. Goes to show, you can't really judge a pick until the player is gone from the league completely. Statue next?

I used to travel to Asia a lot from SF. Sometimes for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, sometimes for 2 or 3 days, sometimes in between. If you are very disciplined about when you eat and are on a short trip (less than five days), you can really avoid jet lag by basically eating when you should have at home, and to the extent you can, sleep when you should at home. It ends up being like staying up late a couple nights, which tires you out but is not jet lag. Once you stay 7,8,9,10 days that strategy starts to fall apart, and you have no choice but to adopt the local daily rhythm. My least favorite trip length was 10 days, because just when you start feeling decent on Asia time, you come straight home and feel like shit again. I also felt traveling East was worse than West. For the dubs I feel like it would be possible to fly in, play a couple games, fly out and really not have much ill effects - but it would really take a lot of discipline and someone on their training staff not caring about performance in Asia and only caring about how quickly they recover.

Well since Sab asked, OT:

Last week I made two strawberry pies. One with vanilla custard, the other with chocolate custard. If you were sitting in my kitchen, which would you want a slice of? Extra credit: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on the side?

Just watched all 74 dunks by JK last year on YouTube. A lot of feeds from Klay. I think they have a good connection which we could see in lineups with Klay joining the second unit. Beli was real good at finding him as well, but Beli's passing can be replaced by Trevion. Watched Moody's highlights last year as well. I don't know if this will be my favorite team by year's end, but it is undoubtedly my most anticipated team. Curry rebound year. Klay 2nd year back and wanting to be better than he has ever been. Wiseman return. Poole raising his game by game floor & winning 6th Man. Draymond needs good material for his podcast & best last chance to win another DPOY. JK & Moody unleashed. Wiggins realizing he can rebound. Looney just being Looney (Don't go changing big guy). And of course, Trevion Williams signed on a two-way. It's an embarrassment of riches.

One detects a theme for the preseason - a preseason of bitter battles and revenge!!!

Ugg. Bradley Beal is welcome to any feelings of revenge he wants, but I sincerely doubt that he has any such thoughts. There was NEVER a pathway to Beal, and talk about him joining the Warriors could only have been posted by Suns' or Lakers' fans. Or other trolls.

The only silver lining I have about the GPII Revenge Tour... is that he may get more minutes to show off his game that he has worked on so much and has been hidden for too long.

The last time they played in East Asia for preseason they were talking about how awful it was for them in terms of getting ready for the season due to the travel:

Wonder if the NBA will ever go back to China preseason games.

The off-season is short when you win a championship...

I'm excited to see the new configuration and how the pieces will fit together. But I'm not going to lie: It's going to suck to see JTA and GPII in somebody else's uniform.

I guess we get to find out if we're big in Japan.
