i don't think winning = only correct decisions were made.

did trump have only correct stances on the issues in 2016?

Petty winning is great for this time around. I vote for magnanimous winning for the next few.

Thanks for the link to the past!

Found one of my comments in that Whiteside link, wasn’t necessarily right about Kuminga, but you can’t have it all. The reality about the playoffs was that the Warriors ate teams up in points in the paint and rebounding in the playoffs because they have a playoff center rotation that has proven to be the best in the game over the last decade. And they own with the small ball lineups.

The Warriors have Green, Looney, Bjelica, Kuminga, and Potentially Wiseman who are all most effective playing the 5. It doesn’t make sense to add a 5 when you only have 15 roster spots.

How can you say it doesn't make sense when it's been their *biggest* weakness the last two years? Yes, they're a great team. But that doesn't mean they can't shore up weaknesses that other teams regularly exploit. Not to mention that I'm not arguing from a vacuum, I'm arguing from the very specific context of what happens to the team when injuries occur.

Thank you for this wonderful series during the interminable off-season. It’s a blast looking back. I can’t analyze the game, I can’t write pithy comments about it, but I am learning and always gold-blooded! Last year I reserved my worst takes for other than Klay (always a believer) and the “we need a big” bandwagon, e.g. refusing to put LBJ is in the goat discussion with MJ. Just can’t do it hah! I started to believe that the Warriors could win it all when they decimated the Bulls in January. It’s such a different experience seeing the game in person. I defended Klay when it took some courage. And again, when nearing the playoffs, Daniel hosted a video with the experts who advised us fans to simply trust the team, Steve Kerr, and the FO. Okay then we are definitely winning it all!

Just catching up to this glorious read after a week or so off the internets, and I revel in every syllable. Watching summer league has also been a delight, and as is said, these games 'don't count', but it's still a great end-of-season cherry-on-top to our 2022 Championship!!! #whynotfive #dubnation #dnhqok

Random late Saturday night comment but damn it Im so excited to see Wiseman out there with the Splash Bros next year. As huge as Bogut was for our culture and defense they (Steph,Klay and Dray) has never had a big man as talented as Wise. Id love to see him come back from this injury stronger than ever and turn some heads. He’s definitely capable.

Dyson Daniels' summer league debut is over, Pelicans say, due to a right ankle sprain. The team says X-rays were negative

STOP playing your rookies in Summer League unless they're fighting for a roster or a two way slot. That's 4 lottery picks injured already if I'm counting correctly.

You called it Crusty. 2 for 2. I thought Magsayo won by a round especially with that knockdown late

OK I was pretty pessimistic after the Warriors got down 2-1 primarily due to the epic collapse in game 1 and game 3 was a blowout for the Celtics. I never for a minute thought Steph was in decline or that the Warriors were doomed without another big man and I was pretty adamant that trading Wiggins + future for a handful of magic beans would be a mistake.

My first look at Roddy with the Grizz. A lot to like. He attacks the cup and plays with composure. Seems ok on D, maybe a touch slow laterally when moving with the quicker guards

Some people say that when the Warriors win, it makes us look smart. Truth - even though we are smart anyway.

Receipts.

- I was pretty excited about Wiseman, and I still am. I like swing for the fences picks, though I’d have been pretty happy if we got Edwards.

- I was unsure about Wiggy, no doubt. But I was delighted to see D’Lo go, I never much liked his game.

- I counseled patience on Klay’s return. It would be slow, annoying and necessary for the playoffs. I was right about that one.

- For sure I never predicted that the Dubs would win it all. Felt to me like a playoff team with a chance to go deep. I figured to be content if they got to the WCF but thought it would be tough sledding from there.

- I expected more from Ja and team. They really sagged in the post season. I’ll be really curious to see if they can hold their shit together next season, or get massively derailed by a team spirit crushing losing streak mid season.

- Laker failure was obvious, just saying’.

- I was sure we would win the Chip after going down 2-1. Plenty of nail biting moment though.

- I never gave up on Curry.

See? The Dubs won and I feel damn smart.

I am way too excited about JW game tomorrow. I need to take heed from the talking heads quoted in this article, and set my expectations really low.

I don't know spit from Shinola, and I admit it. It's refreshing to have something in my life where I do not have to be an expert and nothing depends on my getting anything right. But it's fun to follow the opinions of others while I remain an uncritical homer/ adoring fan. So thanks for providing some fun and info; I kinda love you all though not nearly as much as Eric A does.

So I just watched the Ivey injury and this is the third such injury I’ve seen this summer league in which another player either dives into one’s legs or plants themselves on a shooters landing space. I know these injuries can happen at anytime but If im investing high draft picks im not having them play against a team full of players fighting for a two way contract. Im just not.

The best part about people freaking out about bigs was reading them toss out names like DeAndre Jordan as though he would have any remote chance of guarding Jokic
