Curry was so flabbergasted when one reporter said “nobody” expected them to make the playoffs, let alone compete for a championship that all he could muster was, “Damn!”
“That’s how bad it is? To make the playoffs?” Curry asked. He then appeared to reflect on how quickly perceptions of the Warriors had changed.

Before the thought could be completed, Curry responded emphatically to the situation.
“That’s what I think about that! Damn! Damnnnn!”
He then stood up and walked away from the podium, ending his media availability in dramatic fashion. Curry later made it clear that his frustration wasn’t directed at the reporter who asked the question.
