That's a lot of prep work, 3D, for your presentation. I guess it's always good to see what we've know all along in writing, the Warriors are a mediocre team with glorious memories and some artifacts left over to allow the fans to hallucinate delusions of grandeur.

I'm all in with Nico leading the charge. The ginger man is easy to follow on the court and can't wait to see what he does with Wiseman. Poole should be playing but I don't see any mention of this. Will Kerr also take the night off? He needs it!!

Oooh boy.

I'm making it the Game Thread. May god have mercy on our souls

I’d like to hear people’s thoughts on something.

Kerr said JTA is like a mini-Draymond out there and I thought the 2nd unit looked better with him out there. Does anyone else think they might want to have him facilitate like Draymond does with the starters. If you put him out there with Poole (to help get the ball up the court) plus Bazemore or Lee (pick one), Wiggins or Oubre, (pick one) Wiseman or Paschall (pick one), it seems like he could start the ball moving, set picks, find cutters and make his own shot from deep if left unguarded.

He seems to have the highest BBIQ among the reserves and understands the offense. Am I crazy to see him in a Iggy/Draymond role leading the bench?

Not the worst game to blow off, I guess. But frustrating in the context of the crummy performance last night

This is the perfect game to let the young guns go wild. I'm talking specifically about Wiseman and Nico, and Poole to a lesser extent. It would be fun to see what they do with green lights and a game plan designed to showcase their raw, natural talents. Sure, Wiggs and Oubre (playing?) should be featured as well. But in a game where Kerr has basically raised the white flag before tipoff, this is an ideal situation to see -- at least for one game -- what Wiseman et al. can do when given the minutes and freedom that LaMelo has. Wiseman has forgotten who he is -- this could be a good way for him to recalibrate. Kind of like going on a meditation retreat or a solo backpacking trip. It's always good to reconnect with yourself now and again.

Wiseman better get 30+ minutes tonight. If we think he is a serious prospect, give him all the developmental time he needs. The only scenario where I can see them not wanting to play Wiseman a lot is if they think he might tank his value.

I think tonight's game will give us a good indication of what the FO thinks of Wiseman.

I bet Nico does well. I also want to see Poole with Wiseman. They've showed a great connection during garbage time in previous games.

The second unit seemed more effective earlier in the season, even when Wannamaker was still playing the role of cooler to balance out the unit anytime guys got rolling. Was Poole the key to that lineup? That can't be right can it? D Lee wasn't getting many minutes so it couldn't have been him.

Just... please god let the young guys play a game. If Wannamaker is out there for full starter minutes trying to get back into rhythm on a back to back... with both Steph and Dray out... when they just said he really prefers to play with another playmaker... man. It's hard to watch him try to be something he's not at 31, even when he's being solid at the things he can do at the same time.

Was already considering skipping this game as the 9pm starts are pretty brutal on my sleep schedule after while; this just makes it an easy call. I can't really dig up the enthusiasm to stay up late to watch our non-Dray non-Steph Warriors get executed by a really excellent Phoenix team, and also see jerkface CP3 winning. Best of luck Dubs!

Apparently warriors are interested in bjelica. Not hb though :(

I hope they are making a good decision playin Oubre. If I sprained my wrist two days ago, and could either play today or start a one week break early, I'd take the break early option. And while having Oubre sit as well *almost* guarantees a loss, our beloved 19/20 dubs did win a few games without all Steph, Dray, and Oubre. Would definitely succeed in getting JP some minutes!

How many miles have the Warriors travelled in the past couple of weeks? I think the amount of miles travelled + not having Wiseman and Looney for most of the games played in February + Warriors very fast pace (Warriors are #2 in pace in the league) = tired team that is unable to play well in the 2nd half

I will be completely blown away if this isn't a horrible loss. In fact, I'm going to save my mental health a bit and not even watch the game unless it turns out to be close.

No game is decided before it's played, but an exhausted team, coming off a painful loss, without the two players its entire system is built around, against a young team aching to prove itself to the world, steadied by wily asshole CP3? I'm not going to put myself through that.

Predictions for Golden State's leading scorer? Assuming Oubre isn't out again on that wrist injury, he's probably the obvious pick based on his scoring trend, but without Draymond's passing, maybe it goes to Wiggins since he can create his own shot. Paschall probably doesn't beat Ayton but maybe he gets that midrange going? Or maybe you'd prefer a dark horse like Poole (feels like 5/6 on 3's, 8/8 from the line, 30 points is something he could do on a lucky night), Mannion, JTA, Mulder, Lee, Bazemore... Wiseman?? Can't imagine how this turns out for the blue and gold.

We will either win by 40 or lose by 40. There will be no in between.

Excellent data. Reply gives a fact-based picture. I’m happy Steph and Draymond are taking a break.
