Officially official, Klay is in for tonight. Which means he'll be taking the night off tomorrow against the Bulls so he can sit with Janet in Chicago

> @anthonyVslater

Klay Thompson will play tonight in Milwaukee and rest tomorrow in Chicago, as expected. “He wants to play tonight,” Kerr said.

Smart move by Kerr falling behind the Sun's. He really doesn't want to coach the all star game. The man is playing 3-D chess.

you all might want to tie your shoes on a little extra tight before opening the game thread (up at 3:30) because the header image is going to knock your socks off!

For me, the Warriors have won all their most important games, if I had the choice between them going 3-1 or 1-3 with the loss being Klay’s return I’d take that one win every time

because I can't put pictures up here and didn't have time to turn it into an article right now... I threaded some stuff on the Warriors half court sets, and specifically the Curry pick-and-roll https://twitter.com/Punk_Basketball/status/1481729860053573635

As far as shot selection goes, I think two quick fixes would be to demote Poole's 3 point shot from green light to yellow light and not allow Belli to always spot up three feet behind the arc. Poole does a poor Steph impersonation and not only does Belli spot up too far from the arc, even when he's at the arc he often passes up decent looking 3s even tho the defender, who is often much shorter than him, is scrambling to close out.

Anyhow, here's a nice piece on Curry's current, and hopefully soon-to-end, slump:

Hmm could the Dubs not play Steph, Dre, Klay and OPJ tomorrow? Without Dray, the rooks, and Quinndary, gives them 8 players for Chicago (Looney, Wiggins, Poole, GP2, Bjeli, GTA, Lee, and Chiozza). Unless I’m forgetting someone. I kinda hope they do this and rest those who need it.

Cam Reddish to the Knicks for Charlotte's 1st rounder and Kevin Knox. I remember watching Knox play the Warriors his rookie season - not sure why he never made a leap.

I'm curious about how many points of his 29 Ja Morant got when GPII was his primary defender. I only saw the first quarter and didn't see GPII in the game at all. And if memory serves, Ja had 15. Did he score at all when guarded by Kid Glove?

Thanks for the write up D3 & Stopnpop. This was a really nice application of stats to unpick the offensive struggles. Now over to the coaches to run some plays that will generate better shots. Unfortunately not having Dray will impact our execution, but I think we will see an improvement.

I've decided to take a look at the Bucks bench and see how many points they scored in the past 5 games and the win streak before that.

vs. Rockets- 33 points (won)

@ Mavericks- 16 points (won)

vs. Celtics- 36 points (won)

@ Magic- 38 points (won)

@ Magic- 41 points (won)

vs. Pelicans- 41 points (won)

vs. Pistons- 19 points (lost)

vs. Raptors- 34 points (lost, Giannis did not play)

@ Nets- 20 points (won)

@ Hornets- 5 points (lost)

@ Hornets- 10 points (lost)

How in the world did their bench score only a total of 15 points in two games in the @ Hornets games?
