It wouldn't be bad, if before the beginning of game 4, Brooks and GP2 made a joint midcourt announcement. Simple as that: apologies and apologies accepted, and "Vinca il migliore". What do you say? Isn't it better to stop a feud before it starts?
This break between games was always going to be long but with things as they are it feels way more empty. Just trying to fill this space with all the heart and good vibes I've come to love from you all here. Please keep posting :)

Not gonna lie Duby, after that first response I just stopped reading. I have zero desire to know what your cohort over at GBB thinks about the games themselves. And no Iโm not expecting a โit was a dirty play and he had every intent to injureโ what I do expect is something more akin to my own observation of โit was a dirty play (but Iโll even take unnecessary) but I donโt believe he had any intent to injure GP2. He needs to accept the punishment learn from it and we all move on collectivelyโ. Instead what Iโve seen is an exercise in trying to find any disqualifier from Zazas landing space (I called it dirty at the time) to Poole leaving the Bench to Draymonds multiple infractions to lessen what the hell Dillon just did.
EDIT- Crud I shoulda just scrolled down and Hearted most of yโallโs responses as it seems in line with how Iโm feeling.
Random question here: has Brooks made any public statement? Apology? Acknowledgement? Anything? Is that normal for a guy to injure another player and say absolutely nothing about it?
Iโm a little grateful for the Leagueโs benevolence in giving Brook a one game suspension. But, really, the punishment is not commensurate to the crime committed here. At a minimum, it should be two games since GP suffered multiple injuries (elbow fracture and ligament/muscle damage). If the League is actually serious about preventing these injuries (highly doubtful), they should have suspended him for the remaining second round series.
P.S. If Draymond committed this foul, do you really think it would have only been a one game suspension?
Dray commenting on his show that how great Ja is and how good he was in G2 - doesn't that feed into Grizz confidence OR Ja and co are brimming with confidence (and arrogance) no matter?
OT. Did everyone but me know about this? Probably. From NYT..โ Following Putinโs ascent, oligarchs like Roman Abramovich, Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Prokhorov bought into prominent sports franchises, like the soccer teams Chelsea and Arsenal F.C. and the N.B.A.โs Nets.โ
"He's bummed. He has a huge brace on his arm, and he's going to be out for a long time," Kerr said about GP2. "Six years toiling away in the league, (now) playing a huge role, playing well. That's all been taken away from him."
One game suspension penalty is really about sending the message that players need to keep physicality in check. It's not like Brooks being suspended for a game in gonna change the G3 outcome drastically.
Let's hope Kerr has some answers for Ja - either that or Steph-Klay-Poole rediscover their 3-pt shot.
When it comes to reckless behavior, when in life has intent ever absolved someone? If I go out and drive drunk, and I hurt or kill a bystander, nobody will give a shit whether I "intended" to cause harm. I go to jail. If I abet in robbing a convenience store and somebody accidentally gets hurt or killed, intent doesn't matter. I go to jail.
Media and Grizzlies fans need to stop with the intent B.S. Pretty sure GP2's elbow doesn't care about Brooks' intent on that play.
Hope we see Ja get called for carrying with that bs move he does palming the ball on the begging of his charge to the left.

I think this is the best take yet on the GP2 injury from former NBA players who have committed their own share of flagrant fouls.
Klay with a questionable status before the game, playing 41 mins, more than anyone else on the team had to be a rotation mix up right?
Look at GPII man so inspirational

Is EA working on an E1P to explain how GPII did not flop or that Brooks was not going for the ball? Edit /s
Gary Payton II sighting at Warriors practice today. Has that injured left elbow tucked behind the door as he watches.
