The Golden State Warriors are doing their best Death Row Records impression, going to war with the East to bolster their chances of success. The Dubs have reeled off three straight wins, knocking off the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, and Charlotte Hornets in short order.
The Warriors are 20-10 against the Eastern Conference this season, feeding on those jabronis to sustain their playoff hopes in a highly competitive Western Conference. They’re 7-3 against the Atlantic Division, 5-5 against the Central Division, and a stellar 8-2 against the Southeast Division.
Sadly, this will be the last easy win the Dubs can score against the East as the rest of the schedule features nine games solely against the Western Conference. Let’s reflect on just how good the East has been to us.
Pulling this to the top, lest anyone lean too heavily on the “Moses has no star potential” meme:
(Per 36 minutes)
Player A: 14.5 pts on .541 TS / 4.5 reb / 2.5 ast / 1.5 stocks
Player B: 16.7 pts on .533 TS / 3.8 reb / 2.2 ast / 1.7 stocks
Player C: 16.9 pts on .576 TS / 6.3 reb / 1.7 ast / 2.2 stocks
A is Khris Middleton at 22.
B is Klay Thompson at 22.
C is Moses Moody at 21.
Moses also has a career playoff TS of .703 (in 266 minutes) that he put up at age 19-20 when the other two were in college.
The one thing about TJD that makes me sad is that he's 24 years old already. There is not too much room to improve his game.
