It may be asking a lot, but could the Dubs find a way to not fall behind big in the first few minutes tomorrow? Be nice to have a wire-to-wire win for a change.
Why do I have this annoying feeling that the Warriors are going to come out flat tomorrow, especially with Ja not playing? This is not in any sense a guaranteed win.
Memphis was 6 points per 100 possessions better on defense without Ja during the season, which largely explained their 22-5 record when he was out. Obviously the playoffs is different and we've seen his impact in the first three games. But I think their defense will be much better than Game 3, especially since they're trading away their worst perimeter defender for arguably their best one in Brooks. I also wouldn't be too surprised if Memphis comes out guns ablaze and gets a big game from Desmond Bane or similar.
Warriors need to start the game focused and not turn the ball over a thousand times in the first quarter again. Draymond I'm looking at you.
Please help: Am I seeing things because of all this gaslighting? I've noticed a few plays when Steph or JP go up for a layup and a Grizz defender "somehow" ends up falling on or near them for no apparent reason. I've seen embellishments to sell a foul but to flop and potentially inadvertently injure a player? Just me?
Just heard about the situation with CP3 and his family in Dallas. Those fans are classless. I don't care how you feel about a player, at the end of the day it's just a game. I can't believe they put hands on his mother. That is disgusting.
I have been told the league office reviewed the Poole/Morant play at the request of the Grizzlies and it has been determined that it was a normal basketball play and no further action will be taken.
Memphis really has thrown any decorum out the door, haven’t they? I know deep in my heart none of these players/coaches truly believe Poole caused that tweak (even inadvertently) but just like the ‘Great Stolen Election of 2020’ they’re really pushing the narrative hard from the FO all the way down to Ja himself. They’re trying to lessen the perception that Dillons actions were dirty by painting Pooles on equal grounds and it may get them what they want.
Poole is probably going to get suspended 1 game so the league isn’t perceived to show favoritism. The reality is that one man’s actions was way more egregious than the others. Memphis knows this but they don’t care because they’re trying to gain any competitive advantage at this point.
I'm so emotionally confused. Obviously the goal for all non-Warrior series is to go 7 and exhaust everyone. But I really want Harden to lose at all times. Please assist.
Memphis' latest injury report lists Ja as doubtful. If things are as bad as they make it out to be, his status would be a straight 'out', like GP2. He's not that injured. This is BS:
The Mavs truly are the spiritual heirs to the only-LeBron 2018 Cavs (not as good offensively, but significantly better defensively). Not the team I'd pick for a title run, but they're always going to be an incredibly tough series.
Warriors destroy Grizzlies 142-112 in Game 3 to take 2-1 lead in a dramatic series

I hate CP3s antics as much as anyone on the court, but you don’t f*** with someone’s family like that if the reports are true.
The fan who got escorted out and purportedly harassed his mom and wife looks like a privileged brat.

Jimmy Butler has been on a tear in these playoffs
Now that Mike Brown is heading to Sactown, does that pave the way for Alvin Gentry come back to the Dubs bench?

Yeeps, a Dallas fan put hands on Chris Paul's family in the stands?? Sickening.

Feel like Miami and Philly are probably the worst two remaining playoff teams.
Soo, I play in a pretty competitive basketball rec league and we're currently in the playoffs . . .
And your boy had 12 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, 4 steals, and a gamewinning block!! Call me baby Dray!!
We're going to the semi finals next week, one step closer to those Cancun tickets baby!!
