Lakers working hard to reinforce the notion that teams shoot threes against us better than their overall percentages. How many did Nunn hit last night? Yes.
Only watched the first 3 quarters so far. Some thoughts:
Wiseman has improved dramatically since summer league. He’s playing actual team basketball with real screens, a feel for when to attack and when to pass, and getting way better footwork and timing with his teammates. Also he hit his FT’s. Amazing what actually being able to practice can do, and he’s clearly putting in the work. Defense is still behind a bit on rotations, and he tried the Looney arms up and don’t jump but he stopped moving a yard short of the basket, it’s not instinctive yet and he doesn’t seem to love that side as much as the offense, but there’s finally a clear path to being a contributor. Very happy with his progress so far.
Dante took several 2 for 1 deep pull up threes, but they weren’t near the end of any quarters, and he missed them all. I hope he cuts that out of his diet if he’s going to play point. Otherwise he’s looking solid on both ends.
Didn’t really notice PBJ, Rollins was good on D and again too me first for a PG on O. There was a lineup with Q and Spencer that had good D and nice ball and player movement on O. I really hope they sign Spencer to the G-League team if at all possible. So balanced in his movements and plays for the team, it would radically improve the team’s ability to run actual Warriors offense and Defense if he was one of the guards down there.
Moody is looking good.
If the Warriors do go Young guns bench mob they have to work on Defensive rotations in the paint. There was one really good one when Wiseman moved on time and Green rotated off the wing behind him. But there were soo many late rotations leading to fouls it was a bit rough.
Overall the team looks like they are playing together really well. Good offensive movement and perimeter switches.

I had a good time reviewing Poole’s fantastic contribution to the team -
1. His distance shooting streaks are the closest thing to Curry’s unconscious/impossible/en fuego moments. Klay + Dame territory is rare air.
2. His creative, herky-jerky yet fluid, slashing game are different than Steph’s lay-up magic, but it’s so sweet. That’s not a Eurostep, that’s jazz.
3. My personal fave, his all-around cuteness, rubber-faced comedic timing, dance moves, and celebration contributions make him a Dubworthy meme-generator second only to Captain Klay.
4. His terse and almost purposefully awkward post-game press presence is actually pretty darn funny and smart. Mischevious, but all ball-all the time, like Klay (but not.)
All right, my anger with D.Green and his momma have somewhat subsided. I’m ready to forgive, but only on the condition that he re-learns how to finish at the basket and shoot jump shots. These things are important to me.
But mostly I’m ready to see the dubs in all their glory back on the court. Let’s go! (Oh wait, first game is still a week away)
Lastly, these bozos who think Jordan is too young to make a decision on his own (by supporting Warrior's actions we presume) and we have to decide what is best for him .... take a f'ing hike. A'ight! Jordan wears big boy pants. Step the F off.
I am all for the Warriors internal decisions. However, I believe they have an internal Leadership Council composed of Steph, Dray and Andre. One behind the scenes repercussion that I would hope would happen, is that Draymond should lose his position on this council and be replaced by Kevon Looney - who, word has it, was a big player behind the scenes. Outside folks may criticize the Warriors for not suspending Draymond and believe Draymond is walking free, but a behind the scenes move like this would be a tangible consequence for his actions, one that would matter to him more than missing a handful of games. Could Draymond earn that position back after this year? Of course, he would have to opt in for that to happen. But I would leave it open. In my mind, I would rather have Poole get Andre's seat so that the young guys have a voice in that group, especially since we are grooming him to be the leader of the next generation.
My cheap thoughts on the matter. I'm not trying to rub Dray's nose in it, I just believe he has forfeited his right to hold that seat until he has rebuilt his standing in the organization. And who could argue with Looney taking that seat?
There’s a lot of talk here about Wiseman, and Moody, and DiVincenzo. And rightly so. But what about Kuminga? Not much talk about him. Did he show some special talent or some fantastic athletic play? To me, he looked like he usually looks, no better, no worse. Am I missing some signs of progress?
I’m fine w the positive spin here but what’s the BS about Poole being “humiliated”? The internet is an idiot. One is not humiliated by being punched in the face. Other guy is humiliated for being out of control.

So this is weird. I had a dream last night that Steph won the masked singer. (I don't even watch the show, so why I dreamed about it was beyond me).
In my dream, when he was revealed as the winner I was shocked, and then just thought "well it makes sense. All the guy does is win!"

JMG has been killing it and so has DDV. Then of course there's Andre and Rollins and PBJ and...
