Nico Mannion: 7 games with Virtus (very good FIBA team), 8 ppg, 4,4 apg. 2 games with Italy team, 19,5 ppg. Worth a look imho. Do we still have his rights?

whatever. for the first time, we have a good long extended view of the Warriors without Day-Day. He isn't just a first ballot HOF. He reduced the salaries of anyone over 6'11" forever. (sorry). He destroyed a word. Can anyone contemplate what it takes to DESTROY a word in the English language. Anyone heard 'tweener' lately? Klay is a booster rocket. THE booster rocket that increases efficiency on both sides of the ball and helps elevate the Dubs to historical greatness. But the alchemy, the chemistry that is at the heart of what has made the Warriors THE Warriors, is the combo of Steph and Day-Day. It is the combination of their on court skills that have transformed the NBA. Klay? Klay just floats in a Universe all his own. A man working in perfect harmony with Steph and Dray, yet existing in a dimension of coolness all his own. If we lose a game while Dray is out, whatevs. What should we expect? If we are healthy come playoff time???? ni-night.

Love the unfinished graphic for the game they didn’t finish. Well-played.

Timberwolves beat the Cavaliers 127-122. They shot very well against a team that has a high defensive rating. Edwards, KAT, and DLo each played at least 32 minutes tonight. Beverly played 29 minutes, Vanderbilt played 27 minutes, and the bench played 13-20 minutes each.

Both the Cavs and the Wolves each had 6 players in double figures. Cavs had four players playing for 34-35 minutes, two for 28 minutes, one in 26 minutes, and the remaining three players at 4-10 minutes each.

If the Dallas game was an example of Kuminga letting his hair down, I'm not for it.

Nets are getting their behinds kicked by Toronto. Figured they must be at home, and they are.

Oh wow. Timberwolves are doing very well against the Cavaliers' defense, though their defense is also lackluster. I hope tonight's game tires out the Wolves for tomorrow night's game....

OT/Can someone please compare Nikola Jokic to Larry Bird for me? How similar are they? I know they play different positions but they seem to have similar game/skill sets. I've watched a lot of Bird highlights but not much of The Joker.

I have to tell y’all this was the first game this year that kept me up way past my bedtime in a perpetual state of upsetness. Just thinking how all of a sudden Wiggins is terrified of going strong to the hoop, how the Warriors posted that Curry made basket montage from the free throw line to half court and all the way back without a miss ONLY for him to have another subpar outside shooting performance, Kuminga looking like his mind was in outer space, Poole being hesitant on every single ‘drive, and that end of the bench lineup that Kerr threw out there that started our downfall

AND YET we were up by 21! That’s what the maddening part of it all is. I would have almost preferred an absolute bludgeoning throughout than a loss like this. Draymond will fix a lot. So does Klay not too worried about that but if this team is going to excel the aforementioned players (Curry excepted )have to fill in the gaps ie Wiggins being aggressive, Poole getting to free throw line, Kuminga being engaged etc

OT, but I’m pretty proud of the soundtrack I came up with to match the visual: https://twitter.com/goofusmcp/status/1498446080119238656?s=21

This upcoming matchup against MIN is game #62 which means we'll have exactly 20 games after that. We tightened up our rotations last season around this time to go 15-5 heading into the post season.

Dallas starting turning things around when they got pissed at the refs.

Sometimes I wonder if Draymond yells at the refs just to remind his teammates they don't want him yelling at them.

So, Wiseman still has no official return date, but he's joining the roadtrip for "practice and scrimmages". The roadtrip is 4 games over 7 days (with a home game the day after they're back), there's not going to be a lot of practice and zero scrimmages. If he's not going to play in games over this roadtrip, he'll be missing some work/scrimmage time.

Therefore, I think he's going to play during this roadtrip, and probably early in the roadtrip.

I look forward to the Dubs going at mismatches down the stretch of the season, though it may not happen until the playoffs. I couldn't believe they weren't really making Luka guard on the other end in crunch time. Beat them Thursday with Klay back and we move on.

When Kerr called Draymond the heart of the team, I think one of the things he was referring to that is easy to lose sight of is how much of a stabilizing presence Draymond is with regards to energy level and focus. Last night, that 8.5 min stretch with no buckets doesn't happen with Dray on the floor. Similarly, I doubt we have the same dominate-slow down-dominate-forget to play type of rhythm to the game.
