OT but I dug into this NBA FIBA deal in the works (https://www.nba.com/news/nba-fiba-europe-pro-league-discussion-january). Seems like the NBA is doing a deal with the 2nd tier league in Europe. I assume that’s because the first tier league (‘EuroLeague’) said no thanks. But if this goes forward and works, it could really mess with the structure of Europe basketball. Eventually the biggest money will draw in the biggest teams. So I figure this is super controversial in Europe. Anyone have thoughts on this?

"This skinny white kid with goofy broccoli hair is constantly in the play in little ways that don’t show up on the box score, always on the floor or in a driver’s way or tangled up with the ball or deflecting passes." Pure Poetry! I can't even read those always wanting to trade PODZ. Highest BBIQ of any rookie. Brash but he has the ability to read the floor with the second sight.

IF we trade PODZ I'll put this marker down: WE WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT. He will age well. JK will NEVER have the skills of PODZ no matter how many years he plays. Atheticism yes. But the feel and intuition of a PODZ or even MOODY I do not see.

Kelly I agree with you. I really hope they keep Podz and Moody, but realistically I fear that a Kuminga trade will end up including one of them.

Btw, thanks for keeping the Dino-esque all caps tradition alive!

Dear Dub Nation,

A very important question. I was DVR’ing Dubs games and they would just not win. I have stopped doing it and since then, then have gone 2-1. So, should, I get back to DVR’ing or just see YT highlights!!!

No need for a DVR. There are a couple of overseas sites that put the videos up a few hours after they end with all of the commercials & time-outs cut. Just be sure to use uBlock Origin browser addon.

Warriors (temporarily) 4 games out of 6th. Rockets still have played 4 fewer games.

If it weren't for that horrendous Amen offensive foul overturn, we'd be even closer....

Only three fewer after today. But it's crazy it took them this long to close that gap by a single game, I think we'd played four more games than them after only a couple weeks

Didn't it feel weird pulling for Harden and the Clips?

(That’s how much, it turns out, that I can't stand Sengun and his 250# of floppiness)

The thing that has been frustrating about this season is that the Warriors haven't played with that kind of energy for most of the season. We saw it for a couple of games when a bunch of the starters were out and then it just seemed to disappear.

Never know how to feel about games like that — best for this Warriors team if OKC beats the Spurs, best for the legacy of the 15/16 Warriors if the Spurs beat OKC. I guess I’ll be happy either way.

Shows just how difficult it is to win 73 games. You sneeze, and there go 2 games ... all of which is not to say that OKC is not a terrific club.

I would argue it is much easier for a foul grifting team like OKC to get there - the steph unanimous mVP season he scored ~15% from free fts versus 27% for SGA- close to double - so i will never buy this guy and OKC to be anything like those Dubs - but easier for this team to get there - LETS HOPE THEY DONT

Putting the Fan in Fantastic write up Unc Dunc!

But here, I'll say it. In the immortal words of Stephen Douglas Kerr, "I'm so fucking tired of Draymond's shit".

I didn't catch the part where he and Steve err kerrfuffled, but when I tuned in during the 4th Quarter I noticed how remarkably humming the offense was. I scanned the lineup and could not see Draymond, much to my bemusement, but I did connect the dots to the previous game he took himself out of (arguably or not) and we seemed to play better somehow.

There have been talks about his dip in form, his more TO's or Fouls than FG's, and his having a new baby at home. But here's where I'm drawing the line. If Steph is to play the final few precious seasons of this unprecedented sports star, he deserves to play it how he first came in, with the same freedom and joy of that scrawny kid from Davidson who played without abandon, dragging a no-hope-in-hell show of a team to the brink of glory. Not having to deal a petty potty mouth.

He's got his, not one, not two, not three, but Four Rings, and a Hall of Fame resume for the ages, but if it's between keeping Draymond to try and win another (and yes I know what my handle is) or not contend but have fun playing with the young guns? I just don't want to watch Steph have to deal with someone with such a fragile and self indulgent ego who says he knows where the line is but constantly crosses it without remorse. His act is just vexatious and stinks and I'm "sick" of it.

I could wax lyrically about Steph's heliocentric gravity of the sun needing the balancing shadowy force of la Luna. But not a lunatic who's made him cry after an umpteenth ejection. And now he's just taking himself out of a game?!

We talk about Steph not getting a fair, let alone Superstar, whistle. I can't prove it, but when the refs lace'm up to officiate a Warriors game, knowing they are going to be basically verbally abused by a certain someone, I wonder how much they take it out on Steph to spite Draymond. Would it really surprise you? I know I've run out of patience so I'm hoping he's permanently gone by the trade deadline.

- Rant over and out
