When not with the starters, Poole and Kuminga kinda become ball stoppers. Obviously, the defense is the biggest concern thus far. The starters were much better than that 4th quarter garbage unit.
I think this is the reason Kuminga isn't getting more playing time. He and Poole don't seem to have a good flow. Whereas Poole and Wiseman look better together (on offense - defense is a different matter).
My favorite player had a fantastic game hitting magical three after magical three once again and my favorite team won again, looking to repeat as champs. I'm SO SAD.
Also can we stop shitting on the second unit? They weren't making huge mistakes on defense. They were working hard. Sometimes you get scored on. And while we're at it, the first team couldn't score a bucket for five minutes at the end there.
Kerr badly messed up the rotation, imo — started garbage time way too early (Rollins? Come the fuck on), let the starters sit way too long and get rusty. If he had brought Steph, Wiggs, and Dray back in with 9-10 minutes left and this is an easy 20 pt. win, imo.
On the last point… it’s really hard to come back in after so long sitting and having left with a big lead. Really unfortunate they say that long and then had to come back in.
Knowing that there would be growing pains trying to develop the young guys has not made it easier to watch. But I trust Kerr and his staff; they'll figure it out.
I feel like GPII is the biggest hole in this year's team. We just don't have somebody who can stay in front of quick guards. They were just driving and dishing.
I was fine with it. It was more of a nail-biter than I was hoping, given the big lead they built up. But a win is a win, and they'll learn from this one. That's great news.
At least Harden lost.
Oh, wait.
post game thread is up. Come question everything: https://dubnationhq.com/p/kings-take-moral-victory-over-warriors

*weren't much better
That Wiggins sealant was nice. The one on the Warriors rim for much of the 4th was not.

2 wins
50 more to get in first 3 spots
Have a good time folks
Got the win. Feels like a loss. Fine by me.

Suns up 61-41 at halftime. Suns are using the Clippers as their punching bag before they face the Dubs.
Are we missing Damion Lee on the bench? Feels like he used to settle down the bench on times like this, like hitting big 3 in the end or something!
I loved DLee, but Moses and Donte are both better players.

We did a good job containing penetration in the second half, I thought. It was the O that died.
Thanks. I'll need to rewatch. Agree 100% about the offense, though.
What a matchup. Is it possible for both teams to lose?
E1P is going to be interesting.
"hello everybody. Remember when we used to play defense?"
Warriors were shooting nearly 70% at halftime. They shot 52% overall. So that means they shot...34% in the 2nd half?! Yikes.
Wait till we play some of the better teams in the league. Then, we will see some really ugly games from our beloved team.
Hara kiri time, clearly.
Klay played 27 minutes and Draymond played 28 minutes. Perhaps getting closer to the minutes restrictions being gone.
LOL Steph salty that Carolina traded Christian McCaffrey away.
As a Niners fan I'm salty that they traded so much for McCaffrey so I'm with Curry
as long as they have Garapollo at QB, nothing will help the 49ers.
sad but true
Remember when we scored 89 in the half?
89 in the first 23 minutes ... 41 in the last 25.
This is the most bummed out I've seen fans after a win. How about
PARTTTEEEEEEE!!!!!!
I've never understood being upset after a game like this tbh
