I'm just watching the play by play on nba.com, and if it weren't Westbrook, I'd have thought it was glitching when it showed three consecutive missed layups, within 20 seconds of each other.
Lakers 27% FG in first half good for 36 points against the vaunted Portland stifle defense. Westbrook: 1-6, AD: 1-5, Carmelo 2-9 BUT! Avery Barely, AKA The One Who Got Away: 2-4, nice shootin' Tex.
Some of these Zion jokes are pretty sad. This is fat-shaming 101. I understand the dude is a professional athlete and needs to take better care of his body but I think it's getting a little too excessive now.
I hope he does. Would be a shame if a great player like Zion didn't have a long and healthy career.
The Andre interview was excellent. He’s so honest, engaging and interesting. Opening question “7 and 1 … do you think this is a really good team?” Andre “We’re ok, we’re a work in progress.” An honest evaluation of where the team is at, the positives of executing against a weaker schedule. Really good stuff here especially about Poole’s future development path, Moody, more. If Andre wants to coach in the NBA he will fit right in.
AD left the Lakers-Blazers game after 7 minutes with a stomach illness. He’s not the only one made sick by that game.
We may need to move from our ongoing "Lakers are so old that..." jokes to some "Lakers are so cold that...."
Haven't seen enough to form a good opinion but I'm intrigued by Dowtin.

Portland in the 3rd quarter is at 41.5%FG 27.6% from three 55.6% FT and up by 18 points.
Must be fun being a Lakers fan right now. I thought this was supposed to be the best lineup of all time.

Kuminga watch at the half:
9 pts / 3-6 FG / 1-2 3pt / 5 reb / 3 ast / 2 tov / 1 blk / 20 min / +6 pm
Is that Miami beating down Utah mine eyes do see? Thanks, Miami! Dubs top team in the league in 5 ... 4 ... 3....
the best part of Dray to the Rack is Curry as the "pulling guard" keeping JV from contesting the monster dunk.

So… Dubs up to 3rd in the league for 3P%
with:
1. 2nd best shooter in NBA history not set foot on the floor
2. Best shooter in history slumping well below his career average
3. Poole just coming out of a slump
I love this article, I loved the game, I love the comments. Happiness=great basketball.
