A list of all Explain One Play articles and videos is at The new Explain One Play index.

This is a labor of love, a detailed video analysis of Stephen Curry's most famous game with his most famous shot.

This new version has better audio and two more minutes of announcers around the world going nuts about the Bang Bang shot.

We have:

  • lots of rare post-game commentary by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Coach Steve Kerr, Kevin Durant, Coach Billy Donovan and even Russell Westbrook.

  • video diagrams of how key plays worked

  • all the crazy and dramatic events of the wild game:

  • Draymond's halftime explosion,

  • Steph's injury and dramatic return,

  • Klay and Dray's last minute steal,

  • Andre's ultra-clutch free throws to send the game to overtime

  • Steph's fouling out Kevin Durant and step-back threes

  • and of course every angle and view I could find of the Bang Bang game-winning shot

In short, all the action from the February 27, 2016 clash between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder, possibly the best NBA regular-season game ever and one of Stephen Curry's most famous performances.

I know OKCs fans weren't super active on their SB Nation website (someone once said RealGM) but I'd be curious to read comments from that night's gamethread (wherever that may have been). I wonder if they went from Championship aspirations to despondent. I'm sure a few would have question that last Russ non call.

Love it! The videos you make are so beautiful, Apricot. One note, feels weird to have draymond apologizing at the end. It makes the carefully chosen quotes about steph's game not echo in your mind the same way (for me anyway).
