Jevon Carter is only 28? I was going to suggest trying to snag him in FA for JP insurance. I thought he was older than Steph.

Sorry if this was mentioned earlier. But did anyone see this - it was also on r/warriors - A so called "burner account for NBA ref eric lewis". Strange part is that apparently he was favoring the DUBS with his call because he is a huge lakers fan - GTFOH!

Real or fake news?

I don't follow baseball but stumbled into a deep dive on Trevor Bauer (fascinating character). For a non USer, is he seen like the Draymond Green of MLB?

Name a purpose of the NBA ref last minute report other than to infuriate everyone in general; and most especially losers of close games who find out that if the reffing had been accurate they might have won.

> #Gonzaga’s Julian Strawther has a pre-Draft workout with the Golden State Warriors tomorrow. Illinois’ Coleman Hawkins and Wichita State’s Craig Porter Jr. will also be part of the workout.

So far the Warriors are only looking at players who are 21 or older from what I've seen (these guys and an interview with Trayce Jackson-Davis).

The Miami style of play is largely antithetical to Warriors basketball. No ‘beautiful game’ there, just grit and grind and brute force basketball. Ugh.

Whether or not it’s ‘effective’ is beside the point - there is a certain elegance to Warriors basketball of seasons past (and hopefully in the future). The Heat play nothing of the sort.

Not saying the Celtics are much better - in fact, they are a team that is somehow less than the sum of its parts. Tatum, Brown, Smart and others are ultimately stymied by an utter lack of coaching, gameplan, and team identity. Sure, they might lack the grit and grind to win this series, but we can certainly hope for a substantive change to the Celtics (assuming those bad habits aren’t permanent).

Celtics in 7????

Heat up 3-2 in the series now after Celtics beat them 110-97.

If the Heat choke this series away, Pat Riley isn't going to just kick his cat, he's going to go kick his neighbor's cat.

More surprising…

A. Celtics going down 3-0 to Miami or

B. Celtics completing comeback to win the series?

(I got A by a landslide. As others have pointed out they are two teams that are historically unique for a 3-0, given regular season stats and health)

So…Miami’s gonna pull this off in 6 instead of 5, right?

Right?

Injuries catching up to Miami.

you usually have some leeway in closing out a team up 3-0 but miami messed up and let boston get some life. they’re the more talented team and if they get their shit together MIA might be in trouble.

Celtics are totally gonna do this. So annoying.
