Wiseman is starting to remind me of Warriors big men busts of the past like Biedrens and Smailagić. What is it with Warriors and big men (other than Bogut).
Biedrens was no bust. He had some very solid years where he was a double/double machine which got derailed due to a stomach tear that he never really healed from.
Wiseman reminds me most of Kwame Brown - not necessarily in skill set, but the circumstances - high draft pick, impressive-looking mix tape of primarily high school footage - and external pressures that threaten to derail his development. I think Kwame Brown could have turned out much differently without the breathtaking assholery of Michael Jordan and a complicit press corps; my hope is that social media does not play the role of Michael Jordan for James Wiseman. When you're nervous in sports, the yips tend to go to your hands first... see Kwame, Chuck Knoblauch, and every golfer ever.... here's hoping Wiseman is the one 21 year old in America that doesn't spend far, far too much time worrying about what people are saying online.
Biedrens was a whole different thing. He had three good solid seasons and looked like he was on the way up, then he fell apart, seemed like he lost his confidence.
Coaches were doing the usual post game handshaking and hugs making the rounds. Then when is was going to be Kerr’s turn to bro hug Pop, Pop brushed him off and Kerr put up his dukes. Then they smiled and all was good.
Wiseman to SC

THANK YOU!
Poor Beans man. Internal injury, some mental blocks, and a love for partying erased his legacy. Dude was legit for a (very small) window of time

Biedrins to Smailagic is a pretty big spectrum
Wise to Smiley too, lol
Eh, I wouldn't put him in the same category. Smiley was basically the product of a billionaire getting bored with his day job.

Only 3.5 games away from top seed (tied)!! Yippee.
Actually, when you view it that way, this whole start doesn't seem nearly as bad.
2.5 games off the pace in the Pacific Division with the Suns loss tonight.
Winning %: .385 >> .429
Point Diff: -3.0 >> -0.1
Baby steps...
DUBS SMAAAAASH!
Post game is up: https://dubnationhq.com/p/post-game-party-thread-warriors-win
Love those complementary fall colors on Dorrell.
Our back-ass end of the rotation is better (or at least nearly as good) as the Spurs back-ass end of the rotation. Does that count as progress?
Yes.
If Run TMC comes back, the T is probably going to be Tom and not Tim.
What did he apologize for?
Asher mentioned below. He said, "he didn't just foul him, he raped him."
Ah. That's poor choice of words for sure
It's tone deaf today. Back when he was playing, that was common lingo. Times change, Timmy needs to catch up.
He’s put his foot in his mouth before, but he made very public strides to change. They just might want to mute his mic if he comes back.
Lol.. Checkout that interaction between Pop and Steve.
Yeah, they will always have that father-son bond
For what did Tim Hardaway apologise?
He seems to have trouble.... choosing the right words while on TV.
As in vulgar words or tropes words?
Closed out every quarter strong. Remarkable.
WW: JP
HM: Lamb, Moody, JK
Almost a pop n Kerr fist fight. I put my money on Pop.
What happened? Game blacked out for me at the end.
Coaches were doing the usual post game handshaking and hugs making the rounds. Then when is was going to be Kerr’s turn to bro hug Pop, Pop brushed him off and Kerr put up his dukes. Then they smiled and all was good.
Darn I wanted a real brawl.
Nah this is Pop, not Michael Jordan vs Kerr!
First game they hold a team to under 100?
Come on JK. Pass it back out
Moses Scoopy
Yea I liked the dive and scoop. Just a little bit of success and Moody seemed to get back his swagger.
Heading to the kitchen for ice cream of great happiness!!
Me too, bringing it in the living room for the post-game show. French vanilla.
