The truth is that Golden State, through all the havoc, bad luck and fall from grace, has serendipitously become the perfect environment to grow young players and motivate veterans. It will be fun!!
Looking at future schedules, dubs, mavs and Spurs all have pretty easy schedules. Memphis however does not. I can root for dubs to catch Mavs, but realistically, I think it’s more likely we can pass Memphis but not the mavs. So we play the 7-8 game in Dallas. We’d have a fighters chance for sure.

If we're celebrating our championship winner core and our young glue guys, let's hear it for Looney--he's both! When he locked down Harden in the 2018 semis, hoped he was part of our next gen. Couldn't be happier to see him this last stretch, regularly in our top +/-, tirelessly making his teammates better with the right screen, switch, box out, tidy pass. Live long and keep putting up those open 3s, homie.
Looked up Poole's tracking stats and he's shooting 38% on catch and shoot threes while shooting 28% on pull up threes (last year shot 30% on catch and shoot threes and 24% on pull up threes).
Is he just not quick/tall enough to be able to get his own three point shot off the dribble? His FT% suggests he's developing into a very good shooter but if he can't get his shot off then he's limited as far as sixth men type scorers go, especially in the playoffs.
I'm thinking the best fit next to Poole would be a backup PG or SG who can defend the 1 and 2 and penetrate a defense (so Poole can get more catch and shoot opportunities). But I'm sure those players are hard to come by, barring getting lucky with the Wolves pick and Suggs falling to 4/5.
Wiggins actually smiled a couple of times in last nights game. That's about as much emotion as you ever see from him on the floor which, aside from the max contract, is probably one of the reasons that T-wolves fans never embraced him. For better or worse, fans seem to prefer players that show emotion on the court instead of treating it like a job.
Wiggins would be such a solid 3rd option on a championship team. He probably won't explode for 30 on any given night but he's almost guaranteed to give you half of that at least while playing excellent defense

I like Julius Randle, I hope he stays in New York. idk why but he seems like the perfect Knick
Knicks-Mavs: Pretty close game at middle of 3rd quarter. Let's go Knicks
Can we count on the Blazers to beat the Spurs without the possibility of Dame Time...
Trash Miami Heat are doing us double-dirty tonight — hanging a win on the Wolves while also putting our own first rounder in more jeopardy. Boooo.

Here's a scenario I hadn't thought of before: Warriors get the 8th seed and meet the sliding Lakers in the 7th spot. I like it.
An enjoyable "what if" read - but I found myself smiling at the possibility.
