Wagner seems like a player with a very good chance of NBA success. Would be fine with him at 7 and overjoyed if he somehow fell to 14 for us.

Anyone watching Team USA? They have a 45-37 halftime lead from GameCast)

Impressive bit of Chris Webber sidestepping there. :-)

I have no real horse in this race but Wagner seems to be more of a team player who might be able to integrate into our rotations and contribute not only points. Watching the vids, he can move, dribble, slash, and pass the ball. He's got enough of an offensive game for me to see that he is not a bust. He can also post up and rebound. I like him.

I voted Moody, but would be fine if they decide Wagner is their guy.

This guy has presence on the floor, a great BBIQ and a good basketball body. He’s the kind of player who you need to see what he can become, and it’s pretty awesome. I keep hearing Gordon Hayward, but he’s more fluid, naturally powerful and cerebral than Hayward. He’s also a hard worker. I’d honestly rather have him than several of the guys tabbed at 1-6 so far. I hope he’s our guy at #7

Props stuff! I thought there were two key points if he’s a future Warrior.

The part about his release. If he can speed up his release with better results it opens up a whole lot more offensive utility for him.

When he cuts or attacks close outs he’ll need to be more aggressive in finishing. A 6’9 220 lb forward with a long wingspan should be swooping to the goal when he’s got an opening. Not pulling up for tough floaters.

Hopefully Wagner avoiding team workouts was all a ploy to keep teams wary of him and he's there at 14. :D
