The state of the Warriors lineup: Ty Jerome joins the fight for the 15th spot
The favorite for 15th spot remains Nobody, for massive tax savings
I tried to sort out the current state of the Warriors roster. I might have missed something or things may have already changed.
The Warriors announced this 20-person lineup for training camp:
Roster Update, Oct 4
Here’s what happened to those 20 players.

Added, fighting for 15th Spot
Ty Jerome has been added.
Ty Jerome demanded a trade off OKC and sat out camp. This triggered the recent OKC-HOU trade of eight players. It looks like Jerome will have a fair shot to compete for the 15th spot, which most of us assumed would be kept empty for tax savings.
“It’s a unique opportunity,” Kerr said. “He’s a big point guard, a legit 6-6, really good passer. I think we were interested in a more pass-first point guard.... I think (Mac) is an NBA player. But I think for our roster, we needed more of a pass-first guy and Ty is a very intriguing player because of his size and his ability to see over the top of the defense, his pick-and-roll play. So it’s a great opportunity for us to get a look at him and for him to play with our guys.”
Rumors were that Anthony Lamb was coming too, but I haven’t seen confirmation. There’s been a lot of highly distressing buzz about his having assaults covered up at U Vermont, enough that I am hoping the rumors of his signing aren’t true.
Waived, might come back to G-League if they don’t get an NBA or Two Way contract
55 Mac McClung G 6-2 185 1/6/99 Texas Tech/USA 1
50 Trevion Williams F 6-9 265 9/16/00 Purdue/USA R
Draymond Green was apologetic in aftermath of the altercation with Jordan Poole, but there was a buildup stemming from teammates noticing a change in Poole’s behavior throughout camp with the guard on the verge of securing a lucrative extension, league sources tell @YahooSports.

> “I think the first time I realized it was different was when I walked off the plane with Draymond,” he said. “I’m walking and the fans stop Draymond for autographs. All of a sudden I’m walking behind him and I turn and all the fans were like ‘Donte!!’ I had no idea. I don’t want to put myself down. But when you’re playing with Giannis or Jrue, Steph and Draymond, they’re big-time guys. So when you go places, you expect everyone to just see them and you just keep it moving. I’m next to Draymond and they’re also going crazy for me across the world. It was super cool. But it’s when it clicked, like, the Warriors brand is huge.”

This paragraph from Anthony Slater's sit down interview with DDV is why I think Poole ends up signing for less than Herro. Poole could go get an extra 5-10 million on the contract to be the lead guard of the Magic if he wants, but I gotta think that being on the Warriors on a "discount" would ultimately be more lucrative.
