Little Mac- Methinks somebody told him the team needs a playmaker and took him out of his game....somebody may give him a 2-way shot...I still think he is a baller...has super-penetration/finishing instincts/handles...easier to teach him to kick out/dump to open shooters...SL not the place for that....

Thank goodness, only one more game...At least Wiseman got some run, and, everyone else lived their fantasy...

The Warriors play again on Sunday against the Wizards by the way, for those of you who think SL is over.

Wiseman needs as many reps as he can get but they should shut Kuminga and Moody down and let some of these guys at the end of the bench like Notae get a chance to play.

Just finished watching the game. Quinones gave me hope that the effort I put into my lean-to may not have been in vain.

I have no interest in ever seeing Mac Mclung play basketball again. I would however drive to Santa Cruz to watch Gui Santos play hopefully I won’t have to fly to Brazil for that pleasure (although Brazil is nice place to fly to for many other reasons).

I think any of Weatherspoon, Quinones, and Santos on the 2 two ways would be pretty good. And Weatherspoon looks pretty good really, so maybe he just takes a roster spot and give the other two guys the two ways.

Can’t wait for the season to start.

Man, I know everyone says this about young prospects but i really can’t believe JK is only 19. His game still has a lot of flaws but the stuff he does have down is special. Unless he turns into a Kyrie/KD mix and becomes a full on diva this dude will be pretty damn good for us in his mid 20s once he starts to figure the rest of his game out

Hypothetical: If the League was in the state it was in the 70's, when Stern plugged Bird vs Magic to increase ratings etc, which player rivalry would you match up in today's game to turn the League around? Edit - maybe upcoming star rivalries?

Sorry we missed the clash of seven footers, but here are my consideration about tonight’s game:

- excellent game by Q, I think he deserves a roster spot;

- I didn’t like MCClung attitude in some moments, I’m beginning to realize the reason why he was discharged by LA. It looks as if he’s not an easy one to handle.

- Good improvements by Wiseman, slow but steady; the most urgent improvement now is to set a hard and reliable target for inside passes. Now hard gym aerobic training, running the floor is his forte.

- Finally something good from Quinones. Dare, kid, you are on threeland

- Kuminga needs to calm down, getting a tech in SL? Come on… reps and reps on threes and FTs, and prepare for a season that will be awesome.

This thing where broadcasters ask something like, "Fate of the universe on the line, last shot, who do you ..." makes me wonder: what exactly are the circumstances under which the fate of the universe is hanging on a basketball play, and I have to choose the shooter? What diabolical entity has set this situation up? Why has this heavy responsibility fallen on me? How can that possibly be binding on the entire universe? A jump shot? I can't be the only one who finds this hypothetical to be highly unlikely.

I don’t know where to find plus minus, but the two people with the highest field-goal percentage and three-point percentage on the team were Wiseman for 14 points and and Quiñones for 8.

Seriously, one of most enjoyable things to watch this coming season is watching the Dubs manage personalities. As easy to coach as most of the team is, it is a lot of star and budding potential star power to manage.

If games within the game help keep our vets motivated, this has to be one of them; showing em young ones how to get it done with joy!

Something I think might also be a factor in assessing Wiseman's game is any athlete (but particularly a young BIG who hasn't played much and is still learning their game within the game) coming back from a serious injury (knees are pretty important) is bound to be "feeling" their way back, both in effort and execution. That psychological 'flinch' factor is still there because you don't fully trust your body yet. Training vs Game reps must be at least 3x the intensity. I'll keep tempering my expectations/high hopes but a serviceable full healthy season would be a big win for Big Jim :)

I did like that it seemed Wiseman had an emphasis on contact on screens and was running more DHOs and post splits.

Still looks a little lost at times, like him setting a screen to the outside way too close to the sideline, but feels like he's been slowly adding more Warriors basketball things as these games go on.

Maybe with his knee feeling good now he can add some lower body and core strength this offseason so he can go up strong more when he gets the ball under the hoop.

I wonder who is going to be our better draft class in 5 years. The PB&J one or the JFK one

I’m not sure the Warriors have any more minutes to give out:

Let’s assume Steph, Wiggins Poole and Looney play roughly the same total minutes as last season.

They’re losing Porter’s 1,400 minutes, but at just 2,000 minutes next season Klay eats up 1,100 of those minutes.

They’re losing GP2’s 1,247 minutes, but DDV eats that up easily

They’re losing Bjelica’s 1,142 minutes, but 75 games from Draymond gives you 700 more minutes and Wiseman playing just 10 minutes a game for 75 games gives you 750 more minutes (or more than they need to replace).

They’re losing Damion Lee and JTA’s combined 2,350 minutes, but if Kuminga and Moody essentially eat all that upping their minutes to 2,000 each.

So if people are healthy enough to play 70-75 games next season:

* Full-season Klay replaces Porter’s minutes. Ok by me. 👍🏼

* DDV replaces GP2’s minutes. I know everyone loved GP2, but DDV is a defensive dawg, can play alongside any other guard and playmake. It’s at least a wash. 👍🏼

* Full-season Draymond and a little bit of Wiseman (in my life) replace Bjelica. Ok by me 👍🏼

* Full-time Moses Moody replaces Damion Lee’s minutes* Ok by me 👍🏼

* Jonathan Kuminga replaces JTA’s minutes* 👍🏼

Many of JTA, Lee, Moody and Kuminga’s minutes were garbage time, so cut back on that for Moody and Kuminga and there’s PLENTY of minutes to take Iggy’s 600 minutes if he doesn’t come back. Ok by me 👍🏼

Obviously, there’s aren’t literal unplug-and-replace minutes, but they translate pretty well and a macro level. The Warriors have a lot invested in the kids and they’re getting paid more than minimum. Asking Moody, Kuminga and Wiseman to essential replace Iggy, Lee, JTA and a little bit of Wiseman doesn’t seem like a bid deal…nor does it seem like a big drop off.
