YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Just finished the recording without spoilers.

Just incredible grit, they had every reason to quit.

Moody looks 2 inches taller than at the start of the season, he's just a real presence now. He gets his chest in front of everything.

Kuminga was all over the place, but got it together just in time.

DLee is finally fully over whatever was messing him up post-injury a couple of months back.

Chiozza was pissing me off, because the Spurs just don't see him on close outs, but he stepped up late too.

Poole was a volume chucker, but someone had to grab the reins and got the job done.

GP2: be well, you were awesome. (Haven't read any updates yet.)

Is it 2026 yet? Bring on Wiseman! Ready for Warriors NexGen.

The current seven-game win streak ties our longest win streak of the year, achieved twice previously.

Ok, so help me out here. I’m seeing two takes for the first three quarters of last night’s game. Take 1: The Spurs shot from the 3 point line at a crazy, abnormal, and unsustainably high rate. Amazing offensive breakout. Take 2: The Dubs’ defense was terrible, allowing the Spurs to score at will inside and outside.

Which is it? Unusually good offense? Or bad defense? Who has good enough chops with metrics analysis (especially defensive metrics) to tease out how much it was one or the other?

Oh my god, the Spur broadcast right when Poole hits the go ahead shot features one of them sounding genuinely anxious saying, "what's happening".

That's a lot more satisfying to hear than the screaming lady from 2012:

I’m starting to think maybe the Warriors actually can draft players without Jerry West telling them what to do.

Is it a super homer hot take to say I think I enjoy this team more than (this team + KD - Moody - Kuminga - Wiggins )??

Ie the ‘19-20 season was lost anyway due to injuries.

‘20-21 with KD & without Klay there’s a good/fair chance we get chip number 4, so there’s that to weigh and consider…

‘21-22 what do people think — do you want to watch Wiggs/Kuminga/Moody or KD (and maybe a 25-30 draft pick)??? I feel like we’ve recaptured some of that joy that we were missing in that last fateful ‘18-19 season, and we’re much better balanced.

According to the postgame thread in r/NBA, Spurs fans said that the team has a tendency to go scoreless for a long time during crucial moments of the game, which is usually what causes the Spurs to lose winnable games this season.

2021-22 Dubs minus Steph, Dray, Klay, and Iguodala versus 2019-20 Dubs including that year's version of Draymond and DLo (no Steph or Klay). Who wins a 7-game series?

I think it's this year's squad and it's not that close.

Missed the game, but watched the 10 minute nba highlight recap.

It seemed like JK was pretty quiet for the first three quarters but then hit like 5 buckets in a row and was critical for the 4th. Is that accurate?

I was thinking about Looney. I think he has a personal goal to play 82 games going into the offseason trying to get a new contract and show that he can stay healthy and get rid of that label.

It’s hard to avoid crazy homer fanboy brain but day-um I’m excited about these rookies.

Poole’s reckless abandon going to the rim reminded me a bit of Dwane Wade with all the hard falls.
