They were so happy then. And their kids were so young. :D

Sweet victory. Still pissed off about Klay's injury in waning minutes of game 6 last year though.

I have to run, but here's what I wrote about the last 1:30 today....

The last 1:30 of this game is so emotional. The Warriors know they’re about to do it. They are about to get the biggest monkey off their back. Kevin Durant wanders around having an emotional breakdown… he insists on isolating LeBron and is stripped. The Cavs have now crept within range. Steph then iso’s Kyrie, also seems out of control… and hits the game sealing 3 over him. Andre is clapping right in KD’s face to keep playing the game. Steve Kerr looks like he wants to tell the team to settle down, but he is too overcome himself.

Another score, inbounds to Steph and he just stands there letting out a year’s worth of frustration, fist pumping and screaming after the inbounds. He did it. HE MADE THAT OLD. Andre and Dray are yelling at Steph to keep playing the game and get it across half court. KD is high-fiving the crowd.

And the crowd was making the most indescribable noise and motion. Everyone was just jumping non-stop, high-fiving, overflowing with emotions, and just looking around at each other. Can you believe we are alive together here for this? It was more than championship joy, it was relief, it was exorcism, it was redemption, it was catharsis after the year of abuse… it was just RELEASE. It was the best live sports event of my life.

WTF is Mark Jackson saying, Curry not up to par in the last *two* Finals?? Disqualifying for a paid commentator...

Steph with the sweet layup. GSW was very good at the inside screens. There, Dray with the screen in the paint to stop the help. Now everyone can feel it.

Kyrie gets by Steph, but KD with sweet weakside help. Steph misses a 3 that would have ended it. KD gets a nice layup to start gluing the seal. Unheralded: Andre innocently got his arms locked up with LeBron under the basket so LBJ couldn't help on the drive.

Klay stones Kyrie AGAIN! LeBron steamrolls people (is that legal) for a dunk. Good switch by Steph on the floppy on the other end. Then a damned gorgeous layup slicing between two defenders... maybe Love and LBJ? Sweet backdoor by LeBron on the other end.

Bring out the Steph-KD PNR. Two go to Steph, KD gets a sweet pull-up over Korver.

I think that Steph to Andre dunk was the first time I started to think GSW was going to beat the 3-1 curse.

This was a really good Cavs team. Korver, JR, Kyrie are all elite 3pt shooters.

Klay gets isoed by LBJ and goes muscle to muscle with him. Then Steph with a highlight bullet pass to a cutting Andre for a dunk.

Klay just all over Kyrie, in a legal way. I think this is the year where Kyrie hit a weird layup over Klay at Xmas? The matchup feels supercharged.

Haha, Deron Williams is just bodying KD like he's a climbing gym. KD with a mega huge 3 to push it to 8.

Q4.11.35. Masterful drive from LeBron to get past KD, but he had to use every trick in the bag. It's a 3 point game! KD backs down LBJ and shoots a turnaround in his face. Andre with a big 3 on a kick out from KD. Obviously Andre is the real FMVP

Man, game is actually a five-point lead at start of 4th Q. But if it weren't for JR Smith going completely nuts (in a good 2017 Finals way, not a 2018 Finals way), this would have been a blowout.

McCaw with back to back layups. That guy might end up being a contributor...

I forgot Patrick McCaw played so much!
