was able to pick up Warriors W W W W at 11/1 and W W W C W & W W C W W at 14/1, haven’t felt so good at playing those kinds of odds in awhile and all winnings to be plowed back into the Warriors with next season ticket purchases, GO WARRIORS!!!!!!!
So many other previews I listened to ir watched were so bad. It’s like no one on fs1 or espn could be bother to look to see if the dubs have a defense.

Joe’s articles are great. But Daniel’s gold bloodedness DOES NOT translate to his GSOM articles… and the comments are much better here… and there are trolls/visitors at GSOM
it is hard for me to ever signal bump any SBN content, but I'm a regular reader of Joe's stuff.
I hate it in there though, and not just because of Vox. The ads and pop-ins are just brutal. Reading a little snippet of article between two ads, while another video ad tries to load on the side of my screen blows.
I have a username for SBN (my old one doesn't work anymore) but I made it "voxestpox" and my icon is a red circle and slash with AB5 behind it, so I'm wearing my protest. Mostly I created it for going places like celticsblog to engage with other fan bases.

So… I have to watch the next two games on my phone. I am on vacation in my home town Berlin but unfortunately at my mother’s there us no wlan. Checking the schedule beforehand, I decided to get a so called Speed Box, to have wlan to take with me. All so easy, no problem, kids game - said the vendor at the Telekom shop. But after two further trips to the shop and four calls to the not so hot hotline, I am still without wlan. 😤 I update my data volume on my phone to unlimited for 24 hours and really hope at least this will work. Warriors will have to play really big so I can see them clearly on the small screen. Please…

We planned a trip to Yellowstone and Glacier that starts in a couple of days, so life is going to get different for me pretty soon. Being lucky enough to be able to take a trip like this, I'm going to disconnect from TV, Wifi, Internet, DNHQ, Sabrina's Twitter links, everything, and hang out with bears, (not T-)wolves, waterfalls, and mountains.
Life is weird sometimes. I think I've seen all but a couple of the Warriors games this year, including preseason and Summer League, and am totally smitten by this particular group of Ws. But I'll only be able to watch game 1 of the Finals tonight. I don't know if I'll even do that; I might save watching all four games of the Finals for when I get back to civilization.
Here in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, I'm hoping for Poole parties every night, lots of Curry flurries, lotsa rebounds by Looney Looney, multiple major Klaygasms, the usual stellar D from Dray, return to form by GP II, Andre, and Ottomatic, and maybe even some contributions from the puppies, Bjelica, and JTA.
I've never been to Glacier but Yellowstone is gorgeous and I'm sure you will have a great time out there. If you're able, I hope you will also check out the Grand Tetons which are just south of Yellowstone and worth at least driving through for half of an afternoon. Amazing and scenic mountains.

Waaaaaarioooors!
I am very confident about this series but will be bursting with nervous energy all day until tip-off. Trying just to relish being back in the finals after two years of slander, doubt, and premature eulogies for this team. In my view the only thing that can derail the Warriors over these last however many games is health. If they can keep their guys on the floor, they are winning their 4th title with this core.
Before the mayhem of the Finals starts, I want to express some gratitude to this community, starting with the writing staff. Daniel, Duby, and Apricot are the DNHQ versions of Steph, Dray, and Klay. Ivan is Iguodala, and other important contributors such as Patrick Murray and Dr. Tom are the Barbossas and Livingstons of the crew. You have all been crucial in establishing this community as a great place to talk about basketball, nurturing it from the uncertain roots of the SBN exodus into the burgeoning metropolis of Warriors dialogue that it is today. Everyone adds their own particular flavor and everyone has their own strengths and skills, but you all complement each other in a beautiful and harmonious fashion akin to that of the team that we all follow. Thanks for setting the right tone to enable this place to become a special haven of Warriors fandom and for delicately maintaining just the right amount of control over the community standards and expectations in order to provide a pleasant and friendly environment.
I'd also like to thank the members of the posting community. Some of you are old heads who spent years over at the old GSOM, some of you joined during the LGW days, and some have filtered in over the last year + or so, with everyone offering their own unique perspectives and takes. There are a lot of Warrior fan communities out there online but this place has been made truly special in large part due to the strength of the community. Whether it's folks sharing their thoughts on the strategic vision of the team, people wanting to dish about salary cap rules, social media sleuths that dig up and share tasty morsels of team-related content, game film breakdown junkies, or analytical gurus who provide statistical context to the accomplishments of our favorite team, there is always a lively and interesting discussion happening here that is worth reading. With so many different types of fans comes a plethora of different opinions and fan styles, yet there is always a collegial atmosphere during even the most heated of arguments and an underpinning of respect for each other that is palpable. There is no other community I would bother to share my Warriors and basketball thoughts with except for this one, and I hope to continue having and reading discussions here for a long time. Thank you all for contributing to the gold standard that is DNHQ.
Edit: Gave Patrick his correct last name, as he only works for Forbes. Sorry Patrick.
and, I would like to point out, a gender neutral Fansite. Think about it, a site for sports fans that is safe and welcoming to everyone. Absolutely unheard of!
We had the vision, and it would not be anything without the amazing community that made the moves with us. But the level of effort running this with such a small team compared to the GSOM days is brutal. It's the notes like this that really help keep me going when I work till 9pm at my day job and then spend two hours writing a preview when I'd rather be goofing off.
I’ve said this before, but I think for many of us when I say the amount of content you guys provide is more than enough and hat the thought of any of you stressed out about it. Some days, an “Open discussion thread…” would seem to be plenty. We keep ourselves entertained pretty well.
Excellent, Crusty!! I feel the same about DNHQ. I lurked for years but never posted on GSOM, never felt comfortable enough to do that until the new LGW group and here. Thank you, Duby, Daniel and Eric and everyone else involved in making this a great place for information, ideas and Gold Blooded camaraderie.
As discussed here already, Rob Williams is huge for the Celts. If he is not 100% I can see us being a real problem on the boards. And by ‘us’ I mean LOOOONNN
putting up the GT a little early, but please help move the party over there: https://dubnationhq.com/p/game-thread-payton-porter-iguodala?s=w
You heard the man! Move along people…
Handle game 1 and put pressure on the celtics we dont want them playing loose
I just mowed the lawn in my Warriors shirt wearing a university of Michigan hat. I live in Columbus, Ohio.
How much do you think my neighbors hate me right now?
I'll keep an eye out for 'mower accidents' in Columbus.
SKODEN.
STOODIS.
Hodor?
Hodor! That’s Looney boxing out!

I don't know what this means but GO WARRIORS!!!!
They’re order of games. I’ve got Warriors in 4 and Warriors in 5 with two different 5 game scenarios.
Warriors in 4 at 11/1 and Warriors in 5 at 14/1 ??
Warriors in 5 is probably 7/1 but order of outcome they’re giving 14/1
Thanks. The C threw me. Was thinking it was something like that, but would have expected an L then.
Presumably “cover” the spread, both of those are away games and the Warriors will be road dogs
Old man and the three is so good.
So many other previews I listened to ir watched were so bad. It’s like no one on fs1 or espn could be bother to look to see if the dubs have a defense.
They are hoping that if they ignore the Warriors D, then it won't be an issue. That's not gonna work.
Tim Legler is the only one I listen to on ESPN
Legs is great.
That Viray article makes me think I should resume browsing GSOM from time to time. But then I remember, no...
Joe’s articles are great. But Daniel’s gold bloodedness DOES NOT translate to his GSOM articles… and the comments are much better here… and there are trolls/visitors at GSOM
The GSOM comment thread was such a hot mess. So glad that DNHQ came around to give us a quality (and classy) forum.
Hahah so true
Corporate Daniel is not nearly as engaging as the full throated Gold Blooded King
With championship belts haha
And receipts :)

The ads thing is WAY out of control.

I hope Klay is playing Nintendo right now

whoa. Just looked up the time difference. Tip off is at 3am in Berlin time?
Yes. I slept a little this afternoon.
I love the commitment. You rock!

Have fun! We were just in Glacier a few days ago…so beautiful
I love “watch all four games of the Finals”. Real fan right there.

From Game 6 of the 2019 Finals until now, we've had highs and lows.
Well, #DubNation , we're backkkkk.

I love ham quiche!

This is driving me crazy. Can it be 6:00 already?

lol that's the electricity one.
OM is the cosmic syllable of the universe... or so they say.
Resistance is futile.
Dilly shocking himself into relaxation. I get it
Make Origami. Prepare a sandwich for the break. Write nonsense on DUBNHQ, like I do.
Make an origami sandwich.
A funny thought… will they build another mirrored ball on Chase’s yard? If so, they will have to change the angles and go all hexagonal.
Cut my business meeting short so that I can catch the early flight home in time for tip off.
Yes, I’m addicted to the Dubs. No, I’m not embarrassed in the slightest.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to kick off our annual budget meeting by welcoming all of you…and, yeah so, uh…see ya.”
I feel you. I’ve taken annual leave to watch this game 😀
I've taken mental leave. Cannot stay focused on the spreadsheets today
I think a lot of us can relate 😊
So we are all going to go into withdrawal at the end of June? Yuck.
Just discussing this with my Warriors buddy here in the midwest the other day. There are plenty of things to fill the 3-month void.
I plan to obsess over Wiseman’s development. That should get me through
We will tell no one.
