I had more or less convinced myself that JK+Buddy for Porzingis was the best deal the Warriors were going to get that solved the JK problem, so I'm not complaining boom or bust, though boom would be my preference. If the Warriors can re-sign Porzingis for JK money (or less, considering the risk involved), then with health they have a legitimate chance to make a deep playoff run next season and next season is probably the end of the Steph Curry window of opportunity. Per Apricot, this is the "We Want to Believe" team.
Unless Porzingis plays all available games (19 games minus some B2Bs where the medical staff will sit him), and plays well, he's not getting more than MLE...
In my experience, it’s really the players/GM selection.
You can have the best team culture institutions, doesn’t matter if the players inside don’t want/reluctantly participate.
You can have the best coaching leadership, doesn’t matter if the players are not interested in listening to that coach.
On the other hand, I’ve seen teams with bad team culture institutes and coaching staff none these have good chemistry because it starts fundamentally with the players.
For anyone wanting a Wiseman update.....

The injury report does not contain DAM, and Seth is listed as probable, so I look forward to our Meltin' Curry lineup.
"Some teams just gel". Is that a function of coaching? Or team culture? Or GM selecting the right players?
Yes

All of the above.
