Steph +15 on Beal for the night

Expand full comment

With any luck we could end the night with a Ws in, Portland loss, Grizz loss, Spurs loss, Lakers loss. That would be a great night indeed.

Jazz playing without their 2 guards again so it will be a tossup.

From your lips to gods ear!

No we won't. *reverse jinx*

Knicks up 11 over Grizz at half time.

Wizards leaving Westbrook in to finish the game with a 20 point lead. Lol.

Dubs had 14 FT attempts and made 12 / Pels had 32 FT attempts and made 25. Only reason it was not a blowout was our constant fouling.

Steph ended up playing his normal minutes, subbing in two minutes early and exiting two minutes early.

Smiley with some positive garbage time plays

Love Smiley.

Garbage unit giving up offensive rebounds

I don't think tomorrow's game is going to be like this lopsided. They have younger players and they will adjust. Let's hope Poole and Baze have better games

Nope. No mercy but of course, no injuries please. And let's hope Lee is back by OKC game

Imagine not believing Draymond is the best defender in the league

I would love to see a team with Draymond and Gobert. . . that would be beautiful to watch.

Blazers getting blown out by Hawks.......

Need the Knicks to come through

Yes. #8 is conceivably our ceiling this year now.

Ceiling is still 6, but 7 is still realistically I’m play

Wiggs just seems like a perfect player to have on a stacked team. He is surprisingly adept at picking his spots and fading into the background. I am so excited to see him with Klay.

Expand full comment

agreed, if klay is healthy we'll have a solid 70 points every game from them 2 and steph. just need around 40 from the rest.

Expand full comment

We can get those 40 from Poole, Wise, and Oubre (assuming he stays)

Expand full comment

i am prepared for oubre to be gone. But you are right, if he stays, Oubre will def give us 15-18. Wise maybe around 10 just by being tall. Poole around 10-15 I suppose. That's 35 on the low end.

How can Chris Paul be MVP when he isn’t even the best player in his own team?

Expand full comment

I'd argue he is the best player on his team.

At the very least he's more clutch and more unique than Booker, who's very good but is kind of a league-standard "high volume, average efficiency" scoring guard with passable defense. Chris Paul is one of the best passers in the league, which unlocks Ayton's abilities. Plus, CP3 shoots an amazing FT%, defends OK despite being short, and cares a whole lot about winning (to the point of being an asshole). But Paul has the leadership and experience, as demonstrated by his surprisingly good run in OKC last year, and that's been the X-factor in getting the Suns toward the top of the standings (finally).

He can’t.

As usual Dray owns PFs/Centers at defensive end when he is locked in.
