I’m really feeling a deep up swelling of bitterness. Did JMG do anything good out there? Playing him so much is perhaps Kerr’s biggest weakness - leaning too much on ‘veterans’ even when they suck ass.
Imagine if you could have this Kuminga on a team with Steph Curry. And, and, how about Andrew Wiggins. Also, since I'm really dreaming, Draymond Green. All in their primes.
Inbounds are basically never about one player, since the passer has to make the right choice, the recipient has to get open enough and protect the ball, and everyone else could also be involved in the play or getting open to give the passer more options, distract the defense...
That said, I haven't watched the replay, but unless he got brutally fouled, I hope Poole feels embarrassed enough about that last play that he works on winning habits and skills, some of the little things, instead of adding more flash. He's already shown he's capable of incredible growth, but I'm guessing he needs to be aware of what he lacks in order to work on the right things.
Man, that last sequence really screamed "usually we get Steph to do these parts" to everyone watching.
The team needs to improve their FT shooting. Our margin of error in these games is so slim. Every made FT counts. If Poole and Kuminga had made both of their FTs, we'd be rejoicing instead of sulking.
Okay, I’ve got the postgame. Feels like the first time all year we’ve really needed Post Game Zen:

Sorry gang. I'm out for date night dinner. No post game thread. Apologies!

Meanwhile, Suns took a beating at home from Boston. Oh, and it was Chris Paul's first game since his injury on Nov 7.
Should I post the final stats here?
Where's Dilly? Is it the ice cream of sadness or the ice cream of fury?
man, what the fuck was that
Meanwhile, Clippers lost to the Magic in OT with Kawhi and George playing.
So many good things in this game, so many solid efforts. Bah, should have won, losing the way they did with Poole getting mugged. Humbug.

Could the Dubs not have run something that had one of them catching the ball closer to their basket instead of near half court?
In other news, Andrew Nembhard tonight was 3-10 for 7 points in 32 minutes and -19.

Exasperating and exhilarating in almost equal measure
Where Eric with that damned flashy thing when I really need it?
