Real shit if jordan continues to go off this game I don't see what can stop him from being a superstar, if you go off in the title game what tf else could ever make you nervous
My mango and mangosteen are waiting this morning, soon to be enjoyed while watching the game and preparing for the beach after the Warrior win. Just livin' the fine life.............
TBH it’s not like Wiggins has been nuclear from outside during these playoffs. he’s getting most of his points from point blank range and great effort is more sustainable than hot shooting. IF ANYTHING, i think he’s overdue for a hot shooting game from distance
Wiggins didn't shoot the ball well on game 2, and his three point percentage in the NBA Finals has been low, so I think he's still going to have an okay game on offense and a good game on defense.
I'm hoping for a game where Wiggs along with everyone else on the Dubs can hit some threes. I think he is shooting like 25% from distance for the series. But more than anything, as long as his defense and rebounding is still there, Dubs should be okay hopefully.
Editorial Notes. Loved the old car metaphor, but I think the transition from old photograph to old car metaphor could've been tied closer together, perhaps at the end of the first paragraph. I also wanted a bit of fleshing out of the second metaphor.
If Steph is the V8 engine. What are Dray and Klay? Maybe Dray is the transmission. A bit rickety, and when it stalls out, so does the car, but when it's humming along, the car runs smooth as silk. What's Klay? The outer shell? Dented and scratched up for a few years, but now it's smoothed out again, and when it's smooth, the car runs like the aerodynamic machine it is.
What's Wiggins? A new set of tires and suspension that replaced the old premium set (KD)? OK, maybe I'm killing the metaphor now.
All series I have been mentally using the 2018 Warrior/Rocket series as a template except with these Warriors as those Rockets. Lose Game 1 at home, blowout win in Game 2 at home, blowout loss in Game 3 on the road, stolen win in Game 4 on the road, and a close win in Game 5 at home (closer in 2018 though).
Hopefully here is where the Warriors stop following that path, there are certainly reasons to believe that they will (have the best player, seemingly have the freshness edge, have more than a 6 man rotation and no CP3-esque injury knock on wood, have the experience edge) but it is a good reminder that these series can change quickly, even at 3-2 coming off of two straight wins.
My memory of the 2018 WCF is that the team that had Steph, Klay, and Draymond (with Kerr and banged up Andre presiding from the bench) kicked the other team's ass.
Curry wtf

Ok gang, here's hoping this will be our last GT of the season!

I want to get on my 5 hour flight east tonight with no questions about this years Larry remaining.
I would prefer to board the plane ecstatic.
27 other franchises rooting for us tonight
Pretty sure Rockets fans rooting against us tho... and Morey probably too.
If we win we break a tie with the Bulls… maybe they hate the Celtics enough to overcome that tho lol
What is the Bulls tie?
I'm ready for that checkbook championship now
🙏 for an injury free game
Wiggins is due for a bad game I feel, hopefully he continues balling and if not hopefully game 6 klay + thermonuclear Steph can help get the job done.
Betting on some AWFUL officiating tonight

25% from 3 in the Finals.
That said he is playing huge minutes, I dunno how many big distance shooting nights we can expect.
Tatum is playing big minutes and hitting 45%... Andrew just needs to get himself comfortable and calibrated.

Exactly... the Dubs shot 22% from 3 in game 5 and still won comfortably...
lol I somehow missed the clip at the end... "the ribs slap! these ribs will smith!"
I hope we win.
One day i will find the right words and they will be simple ^^

Imagine if a Stephen Curry documentary ended like this.

Just a collection of #CheckbookHighlights 🤦♀️
That would be a crap documentary because it would miss all of his career highlights that happened after 6/15/2022!
First part of the Trilogy
That actually made me tear up! So fucking brilliant!

Klay is the clutch, of course.
gah 🤦
The betting lines currently favor the Celtics. Let’s take the Celtics’ money and pride tonight!!!

Not according to Daryl Moreys audit.
Did anybody ever make him that paper mache trophy he wanted?
🤣
All I can think is, “Who hurt you?”
The Cavs in 2016
Let’s not forget the Raptors in 2019…..
Fair point but that was two gold-blooded championships ago. I’m not a huge KD stan, but for me he helped heal that one over good.
Dont make me pull up the post-Game 3 L receipts lol
Haha
My new phone message for the game:
Hi, this is <name redacted due to witness protection program restrictions>,
I am either currently watching the Warriors game or attached to a defibrillator.
If you will leave your name, phone number and a short message, I promise to get back to you no later than Oct. 2022.
Your message will be treated with priority if it includes the phrases "Kuminga", "Wiseman", or "Marcus Smart sucks"
