While the return of Steph Curry lifted hearts and minds, there was clearly some rust that has to be knocked off - both for Curry himself as well as his team. You see, part of Curry’s self-deferential charm is how willing his is to get his teammates involved. Which is great. This is at the core of what has made the Warriors so successful but can also be tremendously frustrating - for like when Curry give up an open look at a three-pointer and swings it to Dragan Bender (and his 26% shooting percentage).
Not-so-OT: Lol, Hey, Duby, couldn't help but go back and look at the "old" site; single-digit-comments for the Toronto game-thread as the game ended (they added a couple comments for a grand total of 13, today)! Most "articles" you can count the comments on the your fingers...of one hand! I know, my comment will wind up at the bottom of this thread, but, I couldn't help but gloat a bit! You guys are doing something right, and, I am dang proud of you!
No freshmen Wooden finalists this year (yes, Toppin is on there, Saddiq Bey is intrigiung if we trade down to late lottery, Cassius Winston would've been a good early 2nd-round pick, Azubuike could maybe fall to late 2nd-round):
"We play games without the fans? Nah. Impossible,” James said after a 113-103 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. “I ain’t playing if you don’t have the fans in the crowd. That’s who I play for. I play for my teammates, I play for the fans. That’s what it’s all about. So, if I show up to the arena and there ain’t no fans in there? I ain’t playing. So, they can do what they want to do.”
I think an empty arena should be the norm, at least for this homestand.
I had a lot of questions about Wiggins coming in and so far he has shown flashes that’s he’s capable of answering them (although a very small sample size). I hope he can put all of it together into one package because he seems to only be able to do one thing a game whether it’s passing, rebounding or playing defense. The good news is we now know he has that potential. I think he also needs to work on his shooting because his shot looks horrendous. Even when they go in they look ugly. Fortunately for him he has two of the best shooters ever to learn from.
Really has been a crazy year, tortuous, intriguing, frustrating, entertaining... all over the map. I am kind of ready for it to be done. Losing is hard to watch. Suspending hope is hard to maintain for long periods of time.
Is D'Antoni the offense version of Thibs? I know Harden's durable, but he played 45 minutes
Happy to see GR3 and Alec Burks back in the building tonite
Influenza A , better than Covid-19 !
Yep, it's apparently 19-0 Hornets over the (Westbrook-less) Rockets

Very helpful, LeBron:

Pray for Steph. He is out (illness) today. Hope it's not COVID-19
