Lotta people have been sleeping on Kuminga and Moody to a ridiculous degree. They’re both five years younger than Chris Duarte, both already way better than him, and barely scratching the surface of how good they can be. Having two wings that good and that versatile for under $10M combined is a hugely important part of our roster construction.
so true..and we have them at that price for another year...i can see pod being important as well in his rookie contract...the importance of a good draft!
Yeah, that would be very nice to know. Giddey would have been so good on this team (but Kuminga may very well end up being much better).
I've just written off the Wiseman draft. Ant wasn't there, Melo hasn't really been healthy, and Halli was so far down the board it would have been pulling a rabbit out of the hat for the Dubs to get him. The interesting thing to find out is if there were any trade-down offers worth taking.
I think the most promising thing about tonight is that we saw the beginning of the ascendancy of JK and MM. CP is a pro, and we knew he'd fit in with Steph & co, but man, JK, especially dominated those bench minutes. BP had a great debut as well. This season, the bench unit may actually win some minutes!
MM looked really good. Yes 15 pts 5 boards but he LOOKED good. Not many mistakes (one travel that I recall) and he had the energy and was in the right place when he needed to be at both ends.
Yeah he was cooking. He and Kuminga might have been a bit too shot happy but with Poole gone and CP3 in, they are probably both going to get more shots this season so maybe it's what the coaching staff wants from them.
well if kuminga shoots like this... my idea of green/loon-wiggins-kuminga-klay-steph line up thrills me even more!
How sweet it is...LGW, 'Ship in 2023-2024!

Saric and GP2 are a combined $10m, I believe.
I think Stephs hands are a combined $10m
The Chris Duarte age comparisons will never get old. Three more years to go until Moody is as old as Chris Duarte was on draft day.
And, yet, the Dubs wanted to draft him, supposedly. Who knows which way they would have gone if both were available. We got lucky.
There are a lot of choices I would like more info on regarding who they'd have took if both were available:
1) Edwards or Wiseman
2) Giddey or Kuminga
3) Duarte or Moody (or Mitchell or Moody or even Bouknight or Moody)
4) Jaquez or Podziemski

< we gonna be in-season tournament champions! >
Winning the in season tournament would almost double Garuba and Quionnes' salary.
I'm going to some of those games!
Everybody improved over the summer! This game was a lot of fun. Can’t wait for more.
‘Twas a good night
Rebounds: Warriors 61, Lakers 46.
They too small, Ernuh.

Eight boards for JK. Keep it up big fella.
Man, if JK can get double-doubles coming off the bench....
It's coming.
He wants the spotlight. Love it.
Basketball is back. All else is secondary.
Man. these last 60 seconds have been sloppy af.
Without SOL here, we need summary posts!
TJD pulled a JaVale McGee right there, went for a block he shouldn't have went for and left the rebound wide open.
Donovan Williams plays out of pocket lol
He's been with the team about a week, right? Not sure he knows what to do yet.
But when he came in and nailed that first smooth 3, I was all in
Yeah that was smooth
LQ with another TO.
I'd like to see them use him as less Curry, more Klay
