First of all, the big news out of tonight’s game is that Stephen Curry got hurt. In the 3rd quarter, he was defending a drive when his opponent’s knee hit the outside of Curry’s knee. It buckled a bit in the replay, but Curry managed to hobble off and head into the locker room.

Thankfully, the news isn’t immediately disastrous, but an MRI will be done, so hopefully we will get some additional information on the nature and severity of this. Tough season…

Warriors calling it a lower left leg injury for Steph Curry, not a knee. Out for the game. X-rays negative. Will get an MRI.

Here’s the best replay I could find on short notice (got to go hit up Thee Parkside for a punk show here in a minute). My advice is to not read too much into this just yet, but it’s hard to stop the brain from spinning out hypotheticals. Remember that Curry was questionable for this game due to a contact injury he took on the same knee.

Watch Steph Curry’s left leg the whole time here. This where he got hurt, limped bad and later had to go to the locker room

So hey, on the bright side, the Warriors won. With each game seeming to swing them about 4 or 5 slots in the standings, picking up a win over a Western conference playoff team is nice.

Warrior wonder?

I have to run out to a mosh pit, so maybe you all can help clarify this one for me. Draymond Green was HUGE and played through an injury because he knew the team needed him to win (correct on both counts).

But also, man. That late Looney rebound to stop the last vestige of Dallas’ hope for a comeback was a lifesaver. Make your case below.

Sadly, it is as bad as I thought. IF Steph is out for 6 weeks, the season is on the line. Kerr is spot-on. I would start with LOONS, DRAY, WIGGS, KLAY AND, YES, POOLE IN STEPH'S SLOT. I would want my BEST PERIMETER/SPACING AND PENETRATION FIREPOWER TO START; would rotate Green and Poole TOGETHER as Green will HELP POOLE/KEEP HIM pointed as Green is a point-forward and a steadying, playmaking cog. I would rotate JW AND JMG with either Green and/or Loons -Loons methinks is best PLAYING with JW- depending on OPPONENT INTERIOR, AND LAMB/JK/DDV/TY FOR KLAY/WIGGS/POOLE. STAGGER ROTATIONS, MIX IT UP, AS NEEDED IN GAME AND PERFORMANCE. QED.
