Warriors lose in OT after coughing up their lead

Let’s not dwell. The Golden State Warriors rolled into the fourth quarter with a comfortable lead, but stupid turnovers, and some timely hot shooting from D’Angelo Russell doomed them. The Warriors looked amazing through halftime, decent in the third, and then absolutely wretched in the fourth.
Ouch.
But hey, at least it was exciting?
The worst part of this for me is that it was the core guys that were in at the end. If the Warriors can’t rely on their most reliable units, it’s not going to be a very long post season - assuming that the Western Conference doesn’t wake up and pull away from the wobbly Warriors.
SIX turnovers in the fourth quarter. Zero made threes. Forget overtime, that was a game of a random bounce or two on a couple of possessions - the damage mostly happened in the fourth, the rest was just inertia.
On the other hand, they say you learn more from a loss than you do from an easy win… so we got that going for us, which is nice.
Rough back-to-back too. Golden State will leave Minnesota tonight, fly into the Denver airport, and then make the long sleepy drive into town before taking on the mighty Denver Nuggets for another early game tomorrow.
Close. But no cigar. Again.

Naz Reid has 8 starts this season. Timberwolves are 6-2 in those games. Naz's net rating in those starts? 13.7 -- That leads the NBA among starting centers (small sample size, obviously..)

Yeah, I think Minnesota's definitely better without KAT and Gobert.
The Hawks are 26-26, 17-17 against the East, 9-9 against the West, 8th of 15 East teams, have scored 6,057 points and have allowed 6,057 points.

Now THAT is the definition of a .500 basketball team.
