I can't wait to watch this game! From the torrent of discussion-thread delerium it sounds like (a) everyone was f**king amazing (b) everyone was f**king terrible (c) we would have won easily if the f**king ball had just gone through the hoop more. This must be some real playoff ball! Just need to rope off a couple of hours and hide in the garage with a whole case of f**king beer...

We know this because we share a mentality that runs decades deep

A mentality that beats in all of our hearts

It flows through our veins

We can't help it

Did you all see how long Dre stopped to talk with Dray in the tunnel after the game? Everyone else was getting dabs and Dre was serious as all...I'd love to know what he was saying. My guess is that Dray got a talking to about being smarter about things. Definitely some wisdom from someone who has his back. starts at 1:41 in this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjffG4cjZg0

Games like yesterday make me miss the fine officiating jobs of Tim Donaghy. Would have been a step up from what we got.

Alot of us had: W-L-W-W-L-W. So far so good. I am sticking with that prediction.

Alot of it went their way and we still won but some of their players looked tired. They will have better defensive and rebounding/50-50 balls game. Also Wiggs is gonna regress in his aggressiveness.

Hopefully I am wrong and we steal game 2 as well.

Let's go!! Sweep these fools!

Well, that felt like a playoff game. They don't get more exciting than that!

One of the most memorable playoff games for me. To see the Warriors hang tough and take the game to Memphis after Draymond's ejection was special. We had lots of contributions from different players at different times of the game, but Jordan Poole was clearly the MVP of this game. And, without GP2's defensive presence and disruptive athleticism, maybe we wouldn't have come out smelling so good. OPJ and Kuminga off the bench were terrific. Hats off to the rookie who played within himself and remained a team player throughout. Maybe Dray's ejection was a blessing as he was out of control with 5 TO's in the first half. Klay couldn't find his shot till the 2nd half and late in the game. With a scoring Klay, this game would have been unreachable for the Grizz. Wiggins abominable FT shooting is enough to make me cringe. I can forgive Klay and Curry for misses, but Wiggins is a gamble every time he hits the foul line. In crunch time, you don't want him shooting fouls. This is enough for me to want to see him traded at the end of the season after we win the Ring. Sorry to be so blunt but he doesn't improve any longer. Kudos to Kerr for having the confidence in JFK and to adjust the rotations. Watching Looney was also a bit painful. He knows our system but he can't really keep up with the speed of the game and react within the paint both offensively and defensively. We need another big whether it's Wiseman or a new acquisition. Old legs will only get you so far. My humble Wai to the team for showing their grit.

I understand why Giannis's dunk off of the backboard to himself is the #1 play of the night, but why is Ja Morant's alley-oop dunk ranked higher than GP2's dunk and Jaylen Brown's dunk?

Kerr on Klay’s 2 missed free throws:

“Lots of great shooters have missed free throws down the stretch, and you can always make up for it by making a great defensive play, which he did, and he was able to seal the win after that jump ball when the ball clearly went off of them.”

Steve Kerr says his conversation with Jordan Poole about moving to the bench for game 1 against the Grizzlies was really easy. He says Steph Curry coming off the bench for most of the Nuggets series gives the young players perspective, sets an example.

Honestly that was a really bad loss for the grizzlies, you cant lose game one at home with dray getting ejected at half, especially against us with not many bigs.

I expect us to come out and beat them by 20 next game with some adjustments and better play from curry, klay and poole. We just won on the road and didnt even play that well lmao

We won but Dray needs to change his offensive game from what he did today. Trying to go for home runs to increase the pace is gonna be net negative against Grizz. Also seems all actions runs through him when he is on the floor. Needs to be bit more balanced than spamming DHOs.
