Some useful takeaways from the first half (at least for me).
1. Wise draft was collective decision from FO, coaches AND players
2. Wise and Moody have both become unplayable this season. Apparently When wise plays with Steph, Stephs numbers drop significantly. I was surprised to hear this as I did not think they had enough minutes together.
3. Something happened to moody in the summer that led to complete loss of trust by coaching staff.
4. Good news is that he thinks Myers will remain.
5. He does not see a trade happening, but Steph does want to add another piece to help now.
I am absolutely not worried about the Geezer Suns. When has Booker stayed healthy? When has Chris Paul? KD? How well do KD or Chris Paul handle double-teams? Right.
As for the Warriors, ahhhh. They have not been fun to watch in the 4th quarter of many games. Is it too much hero ball or tougher opponent defense? Why can't we get to the line (and I really hope they don't become Hardenesque in their search for fouls on the way to the hoop)? The coaches need to figure this out. The players need to figure it out. The answer is not the same one they've been trying - that much ought to be obvious, right? "Keep trying the same thing that didn't work before" isn't a good strategy.
We need to at least consider the possibility that opponents have gotten better relative to our somewhat aging stars after those stars have played 30 minutes of hard basketball. Possibility.
I'd like to see Kerr run the youngsters with the vets earlier in the game. Bring in Moody, PBJ and even JW. Limit the vets' minutes to <30 a game so they are more effective in the end.
I hope people never mention KD and Steph under the same breath again when comparing legacies. I'm so grateful to have a superstar like Steph on our side. He could have easily jumped ship like KD or Lebron in 2019 when everybody went down but stayed and embraced the grind. Even if we don't win another title with 30 I'm still happy. (Obviously I want more) 4 titles delivered in a career is plenty. Anything else is just icing on the cake.

Overpay probably needed to solidify the bench. Luckily this FO doesnt tend to do that. Lets roll with the pieces we have.

Really, really hoping for no panic trades. Losing JW would hurt. Losing JK would be all kinds of horrible.
Best thing that could still happen this season is
1. Steph gets a really really really long rest
2. Move to development mode - JK, PBJ, Wise and moody play a lot more so we know what they are/could be by end of season
3. All set for a deep run next season
